My uncle calls it Kiddie Crack. All his grand kids are addicts.

Sounds to me like Mommy and Daddy didn’t have the guts to tell her “no” when she was two.

“No, you can’t have chicken nuggets again. Eat your peas.”

“No, I’m not taking you to McDonalds today. Eat your broccoli. Not hungry? That’s okay. I’ll put it in the refrigerator, and when you’re hungry, you can have some later.”

What in the world was wrong with her idiot parents? A toddler can’t buy her own Chicken McNuggets.

"In a small portion of fries there are 230 calories, 11g of fat, 29g of carbohydrates, 3g protein and 160mg sodium."

Why is this relevant if all she's been eating are chicken nuggets? In any event I don't believe she's eaten NOTHING but chicken nuggets for the last 15 years.

17 year old looking for 15 minutes. She seems pretty damn happy in all those "advertising" pictures.

Watched kids at the "y". Mom would go to the gym and the kids would eat their McDonald's crap. You soon figure out that it's not about the gym class...but the "I don't wanna cook".

If that's all she's eaten since age 2, it sounds like child abuse to me.....or at the least the parents ARE to blame here.

I fear however, someone else will get the blame.

She actually looks pretty healthy.

Anemia is very common in young menstruating females, even those who eat a more varied diet.

Story does not tell us the source of her respiratory symptoms, her fasting lipids, her blood pressure, etc.

So, although I would not (and did not) feed my kids such a diet, there is no evidence from the article that her ER visit had anything to do with Ronald McDonald.

There was a guy at work who pretty much lived on energy drinks, McNuggets and video games. Nice guy, but he was sick ALL the time.

Based on the pics in the article, she looks healthy to me. I smell BS.

OTOH, this will not stop me from forwarding this article to my sis since chicken nuggets are one of the few things her eight-year-old son will eat :/

This story is “crap”, how did at 5 yrs of age did she get to McDonalds? Did they live next door to McDonalds? How at 6 yrs of age did she pay for her McNuggets? etc. Judging by her pictures this is a scam.

“eaten nothing but chicken nuggets since age 2”

Probably not true. Sounds impossible.

The parents should be blamed for this.

The worst part is that while she was on the table being examined, she laid five eggs and then pecked at the doctor.

If one limits themselves to such a diet of anything this would be the results. I can't think of any ONE food that would contain all the vitamins and nutrients required for a healthy diet.
