I agree — jokes aside he was the best tonight so far. Really in his wheelhouse.

Joshua Ledet
He sings Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars. WOW! This is great!
Standing-o from the judges.

Steven: You can sell a song like a work of art.
J-Lo: So dynamic. So much energy. You're the umph!
Randy: Unbelievable performance. You've got the vocals, you've got the performance. I he really gotsta have it!
Seacrest invites Joshua's preacher dad to hug his son on stage. "Come on up and hug your boy!"

"That's racist, Ryan!"
Sheesh, they should have rehearsed this walk-up. Dad is taking scenic route. Finally, they embrace. Cheers and applause.
Joshua pats his dad's belly, lol

Sorry, I can’t agree. They are singing the same song apart at the same time.

She’ll outshine Taylor Swift in a few years - finally. Taylor is sweet enough but I HATE her voice. Skylar can belt it out and actually carry a tune.
To: freedumb2003
THis song did not work nearly as well for Colton as it did for Skylar...

OOpppss — I should read for content.
I thought you meant this song since it was Skylar.
Next time say “Mantasia” so I’ll get the right person

Duet Deaux
Skylar and Colton are again paired-up (no, they're not dating, they both stress). They sing the Jason Aldean/Kelly Clarkson song "Dont You Wanna Stay. It doesn't sound as good as the original, but not bad. Skylar can't quite hit the same notes that Kelly Clarkson can. But she sure tries.

Steven: You just made love singing to each other so it don't make much difference now anyway. So gorgeous.
J-Lo: We had the pleasure of seeing Kelly and Jason singing this last year and it's not easy. (faint praise)
Randy: I love you both dearly, but that was just okay for me. A little pitchy. Some of the notes are a little sharp here and there.
J-Lo concurs.

I think you are thinking of Colton and Skylar the duet. I was talking about Joshua and Skykar as individuals.
