The Believers make the distinction between contrails (jet exhaust) and chemtrails (deliberate aerial dispersion of toxic chemicals for nefarious government purposes). They have ways of recognizing which are which.

And, yes, there are plenty of people who believe in chemtrails. And that sort of mindset is what attracts them to troofers like Paul.
