There’s also this:
My daughter is in middle school. 2 days ago she had a Social Studies assignment that she HAD TO DO! She had no choice as she would get an F if she did not do the required assignment!
What was that assignment?
She had to take a picture of our food pantry and the food in it and she had to take a picture of our Freezer and Fridge with what amount of food we had, how much was spent on food per week and she had to bring in a picture of her family!
It really bothered me and I did not want her to do it, but she got upset and said she had to do it and that is was just for comparing to food people eat in other countries!
I allowed her to take the pictures and take a picture of her and I for the project.
Now, I have been thinking about it this morning with the information about the Federal Government going to the Mormon Food Pantry demanding a list of who has purchased bulk food.
AND the White House Unveiling plans of using schools, teachers and Community leaders (Churches) to find out about people and who may be terrorist, due to not agreeing with the government.

Sounds like you folded like a cheap suit. Shoulda been one can in the pantry of None-Of-Your GD Business brand baked beans.
How long before the teacher asks for pictures of your gun cabinet...
I don’t blame you for being upset about your daughter’s school “project” - That is really frightening!!! What has happened to our America?

I long ago decided to consider an “F” grade from any branch or level of government a badge of honor. We have torn up objectionable school assignments. Don’t be so weak and compliant.
Why is she still there after this assignment?
It is so disheartening when conservatives give in to this kind of intrusion.
Seriously, there is no way in hell I would have done that and I wouldn’t care if my kids got mad or not.
That could be accomplished by taking pictures of grocery store shelves, or collecting weekly sale flyers. Instead the children and parents are intimidated - no, BULLIED - by intrusive government agents masquerading as harmless school teachers. These privacy-violating "mandatory" assignments serve to collect information alright... they tell the government goons who is a compliant sheep and who is hard-wired to oppose tyranny.
The plausible deniability cover [of innocuous school assignments] forces reasonable people to appear very unreasonable (or downright paranoid) when they take a stand against brazen intrusions. The brainwashed teachers - who may think nothing of posting personal information and photos on social networking sites - will genuinely think that non-compliant parents are absolute kooks for not agreeing with their lesson plans. After all, Ms. Teacher is progammed to expect people to do whatever she says and doesn't think the word "No" applies to her.
There is high level of arrogance in those who teach in order to program, manipulate, and control innocent children. Such a teacher is content to let parents wrongfully assume that 1) perverse assignments are just little misunderstandings, and that 2) the teacher's calling is to impart knowledge and to nurture critical thinking skills.
Anyone who would impose the assignment you describe is a danger to freedom and to the whole of Western Civilization. Minus the mask, your child's teacher is nothing but a creepy, uncouth voyeur whose least concern is the well-being of children - IOW, the government's ideal child-minder. Stranger danger, indeed.
