I agree. I'd have fudged the heck out of it. It wouldn't have been anywhere near accurate. It's none of the teachers unions business what or who we have in our home.

The girl had to do the project, but the union wouldn't have gotten anything real from us. One cupboard empty, the next full. One refrigerator shelf empty, one full. The family photo would have been so distant, faces would be too small to be seen.

They would have ended up with nothing to use for peer pressure against my kids.The union will make those who have food feel guilty because another may not have it. Those with real families will be made to feel guilt, because their parents are too normal. They'll be made to feel guilty because they have while others do not.

This was a socialist study class. Socialism is being taught. The kids are being trained to feel guilty about their lives.

I thought of that as well..empty the freezer and leave one package of frozen bologna and one loaf of frozen bread.
