A Long Island man was stunned to find out that his 4-year-old twins werent an accidental pregnancy at all his desperate girlfriend secretly stashed away his sperm and used it for an in-vitro procedure, he charges in a lawsuit.
Elmont resident Joseph Pressil, 36, wasnt planning on having children with Anetria Burnett, with whom he was in a relationship for six months in 2007, he said.
So she took matters into her own hands, he told The Post, in order to remain in his Texas house and make a legal bid for half of his possessions.
-snip-
The real bombshell dropped last February, when Pressil got a strange receipt in the mail for sperm cryopreservation.
Confused, he called the company that had sent him the paperwork, which referred him to the Advanced Fertility Center of Texas, where a manager asked him to sign a release form.
Thats when he said he uncovered the bizarre plot.
She was taking [the semen in condoms] after the fact and running down to the clinic with it, said Jason Gibson, who is representing Pressil in his suit. He now has joint custody.

She stole my sperm!
If condoms were all he was using, it wasn’t very goofproof against a pregnancy anyhow. She could have just given him some old condoms.
People who mess around with “mother nature” deserve what they get.
Gee, that's totally not a warning sign.
I HATE it when girlfriends freeze my sperm and have my children later. It’s very inconvenient.
It's the icepacks in my underwear that really get me annoyed.
No kidding!
MEN deserve - on the basis of their being male - without any respect to their concerns, desires or other high-faluttin' issues (they are after all else men, correct?), undesired children and women as wives that'd rather be regents in days gone by.
Its only fair I tell ya...
“So she took matters into her own hands..”
I can’t help but smirk at that statement.
If he’d taken matters into his own hands he wouldn’t be in this picklement.
On a celestial level, yes. God says dance with the devil, don’t be surprised if you get burnt. (She has her own onus of blame too, but the guy should have known better.)
No "cryopreservation", but an overly helpful offer to dispose of a used condom is usually involved.
Damn, dude. What the hell were you thinking?
Dating a stripper is like playing Russian Roulette, but not nearly as safe.
It wasn’t what he was thinking, it was what he was thinking with.
He really deserved this, people?
Don’t we talk about people using condoms to be responsible?
How could he have prevented this? He’d have to be looking at her like she was insane to even consider she was doing this. How can you possibly keep dating or have a chance to fall in love with a woman if you have to look at every one of them you’re dating as possibly pulling a stunt like this?
All you people would have called him paranoid.
How do you say no sex to a woman you are dating, who wants to have sex with you? For six months? Seriously.
Using condoms is 100% clear the guy does not want children. Come on. Keeping it in the pants is not going to keep the woman dating you and all of you know it. Just try rejecting your girlfriends’ advances for 6 months if she wants sex. See if you have her as a girlfriend saying “no” all that time.
“but the guy should have known better.)”
Really? He should have known that a woman would take a used condom (a pretty good indicator the guy did not want kids) and get the sperm out of it, take it to a lab, have it frozen, then use it to inseminate herself?
And how does a sperm bank accept and then release sperm without the donors consent? Sounds like someone needs to sue, the ex and the cryogenic facility.
I guess I’m an old fuddy duddy about adultery, but hey.
Bop you over the head with a bible. First courtship and marriage, then the sex. Doing something like this screws your soul, pardon my French.
Brings new meaning to the phrase cold cocked.
How could he have prevented it? He could keep his sperm to himself? He could avoid strippers? He could marry before he does the deed? He could be old-fashioned and responsible in the old-fashioned sense of the word? He could find a respectable woman?
