Nov 21, 2011 Rush Limbaugh Says First Lady Was Booed Partly Because NASCAR Fans Hate Her Uppityism
On Sunday, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden visited Homestead Miami speedway to serve as ceremonial grand marshals of the Ford 400, where some in the crowd booed them.
The White House downplayed the incident today, with the First Ladys communications director Kristina Schake saying only that Mrs. Obama was proud to join NASCAR in recognizing our nations veterans and military families to raise awareness of this important issue for all Americans. As she has always said, she will proudly stand with anyone making a major commitment to serve and honor our military community and yesterday, NASCAR did just that.
On his radio show today, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh gave many reasons for why he thought they were booed.
Citing the 2008 incident where then-Sen. Obama was secretly recorded at a fundraiser describing small town Pennsylvanians in hard economic times as getting bitter and cling(ing) to guns or religion or antipathy to people who arent like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations, Limbaugh said people that go to NASCAR races are the very people her husband called bitter clingers.

The race-baiting community agitators at ABC Snooze used it.
LOL. This will create an immense backlash ... against ABC news. They really dont know when a) they are up against the vast majority, and b) when they are pissing up a rope.
"yeah yeah, uppity, that's it, anyone seen my beer?
How many black employees anchor the nightly news? Actions speak louder than words, ABC.
I think ABC News took the “uppity” out of context and cross-referenced its use to Justice Clarence Thomas who berated his detractors as a agents of a hi-tech lynching against “uppity’ Blacks. Rush was using it in the context of Obama’s disdain for NASCAR types.
Bacrock Obama shows that you don’t put a boy in to do a man’s job. Yeah, I called him a boy. He sure as hell ain’t a man.
commies booed sarah palin and george bush etc...nothing said....

Sending Michelle to the NASCAR race was a set-up orchestrated by the Obama campaign as they knew she would be booed by the crowd.
Yep!
are we allowed to use the word Uppity in reference to Michelle. That word really describes her.
We can’t post pictures of Wookies.
Maybe we can post Uppity Pictures of Michelle.

I agree.
And the crowd fell for it.
She was booed because she is one F U G L Y woman.
@realistic_view i believe that you didnt know of the connotations. but that doesnt mean they dont exist. they do.
@Dianne93101 These race-baiters are shameless. And shame on Jake Tapper for suggesting it.
It’s still a free country. ABC news can get bent.
If Obama had his own race track and named it after his wife, is would be named “ASSCAR”.
If he had a railroad, he would name the last car, “BigAssCaboose”
And if Michelle backed into a plane’s running propellor, the headlines in some of the more sensational newspapers would read: “Michelle Backs Into Propeller: Dis-Assed-Her”
