Sorry Pens’ fans, but I have a feeling this is going to be short-lived. Given his history it won’t take much of a hit to create concussions symptoms once again. I think the sun has already set on Crosby’s career.

Glad he took the time to heal properly. One of the saddest things I’ve seen in sports was Eric Lindros chewing his brain away hurrying back from concussions.

They need all the help they can get at this point. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane last night as they enshrined Eddie Westphall in the Islanders Hall of Fame. It was heartwarming to watch the testimonials from the past - Chicco Resch, Al Arbour, Bossy, et al.

I'm glad they had him take the time to recover...and I'm glad he's coming back. He's good for the game. I hope he has a long career.
