Iowa - Herman Cain leads all of his rivals in a new ISU/Gazette/KCRG Iowa poll released today. The poll sample of 1,256 registered voters is larger than any other poll conducted in Iowa this year.
The poll was conducted from 11/1 - 11/13 after allegations of misconduct first arose against Mr. Cain in a Politico story that broke on October 31st.
In the last two polls conducted just before the allegations surfaced, Cain had been leading his rivals by only 1% in a Des Moines Register poll (taken 10/23 - 10/26) and was behind Mitt Romney by 3 points in a CNN/Time poll (taken 10/20 - 10/25).
While other polls show a surging Newt Gingrich, Mr. Cain's lead over him in the ISU/Gazette/KCRG poll is 20 points.

Those that control the headlines control the message. This is my headline and write up based upon the new poll out today. It is properly sourced and linked and placed in General/Chat.
I'm tired of the MSM controlling the headlines and the interpretation.

This poll came out yesterday and covers two weeks. While I like the results (I’m a Cain supporter), Newt appears to received a sizeable number of weak-kneed Cain people.

Why do conservatives give up so easily? This “scandal” stuff should not have effected anyone.

From the poll, which is telling:
"Of those polled, 377 (30.0 percent) stated that they definitely or probably would attend the Republican caucus on Tuesday, Jan. 3."
It also polled 979 registered republicans and 277 registered independents.

I just hope Cain can hang tough until the real polling starts. The rest of it is manipulation by the media shills for the Democrat party. Each little movement of numbers by Gingrich or Cain or Romney results in the media refocusing its attention on whomever the front-runner appears to be at that moment. Right now, Newt is in the crosshairs, which is good for everyone else. I hope his rebound holds until New Hampshire.

There are loyal posters that donate every FReepathon. Some donate several times during every 'thon. But others never donate. Why?
1 My enemies haven't been zotted.
2 The owner doesn't support my candidate.
3 FR won't "upgrade" to "Like" buttons and blinky crap.
4 Someone else will donate.
5 My friend was zotted.
6 I lost my job and have no income.
Only one of those is a legitimate reason.

Didn’t affect me either. Who would want to harass those ugly liar skanks in the first place? Just looking at those accusers make me want to hurl.

As Mr. Cain gets back to putting his message in front of real people, rather than through MSM interpretors, his popularity will go back up. Iowans know the real thing when they see it.

Well if you like and agree with liberal Mike Luckovich that’s your business.

Something does not jibeI think a poll showing Ron Paul essentially tied for 1st should be one's 1st red flag.
The meat of the poll shows that it's a joke. Only 30% of the people polled said they possibly might or will vote. That's 70% of unlikely voters giving answers.

Can’t decides ranks 4th. Although those who think those folks under the “undecides” will get all those votes. Doubt it. And even if they did, they are so low that adding in 8 percent does not get one of them over the top. I wonder if the 5 percent is for Sarah? Sheesh. Sarah is beating Newt by 1.1 percent and she never announced.....lol.

I’ll trust Rasmussen before ISU all day long and twice on Sunday.
