I am on the Texas board and this is becoming an everyday problem. Anyone else out there been seeing this?

Yea, we have to deal with the Perrybots spanning this site...posting article after article, puff piece after puff piece, even now, when Perry is a has-been.

I find that troll amusing.
He’s persistent. Hard to rile him up though..

Actually we should be able to out debate them.
We can't have a system where everyone can just go around pushing a button on anything they don't like.
We also have the option of totally ignoring them, the moderators will catch them soon enough.

Yeah! All Texas FReepers should be able to call upon The Lightning Bolts from Above to rain down at our command!
Nice post fellow TXFREEPER, screw you other 49+[etc.] State/Country/Territory/Province/Entity FREEPERS!

There is something creative on the conservative live interactive forum on channel #americapolitics on the undernet server of IRC called Rule 8.
Its a script where fellow chatters, who are not recent signups, can vote one time either aye or nay on another chatter - and if that person gets 5 ayes they get an automatic ban of 3 hours. A nay vote cancels an aye vote. No votes in 15 min resets the counter. The bans are on the IP of the chatter and increase in duration the more times a chatter gets rule 8’d out of the channel.
It gets a little ugly sometimes when the trolls and liberals gang up and nay each other to prevent a ban. But over all it really works well to get rid of the liberals and trolls as well as adds a fun way to fight back at the liberals and trolls.
If the mods are interesting mail me and I can get you the script.

What's to keep the trolls from using the "Easy Button" on legitimate Freepers?
Careful what you wish for - the Marxists would relish such a tool to squash the legitimate debates and seize control.

Please do not post the names on any of our wonderful trolls. It encourages them.

I say hook that button up to a wireless transmitter and make Jim Robinson and the moderators carry a portable beber stuner. When someone presses the easy button the stuner like device can stun them (make sure the beber is set to stun and not kill so we don’t run through hundreds of mods a day).

Hey, this post is just above the "Chinese Hospitals Tosses Live Baby" post.
Gives me that oh so queasy National Inquirer feel ~ so I haven't read that one yet.
TWO CUPS OF COFFEE FIRST and I will read it.

Cicci: No. We called it the Corleone Family, Senator. We called it the Family.
Chairman: What was your position?
Cicci: At first, like everybody else I...I was a soldier. Chairman: What is that?
Cicci: A button, you know, Senator, come on.
Chairman: No, I don't know. Tell me.
Cicci: Well, when the boss says push a button on a guy, I push a button. See, Senator?

I know I’ll regret this, but here goes. Been a FReeper since 1989. What state boards? Never knew we had state boards.

Oh my gosh yes!!! We had one on the Ohio board this week and I have one PMing me about the Tea Party. Both have been reported. This mornings PM’er has yet to be dealt with.
On the Ohio side I am concerned as we have a huge election issue battle going on and Van Jones is going to be here this weekend/week. So I am expecting lots of trolls to the Ohio board and ping lists.

So, did Mr Walmart come back to the TX board? I’ve been away from the office for a while. I miss most of the trolls there, but do catch the postings by one or two.

I agree. Getting rid of the Perry Cheerleaders would be a fantastic start. They stink up the place with their liberalism. Of course I deal with them with rebuttal instead of crying to the boss......
