I have told my children (and they understand from my personal experience of seeing bodies torn and broken, who ten seconds before were laughing and just doing their jobs,) people who are “into” or “enjoy” this type of costume are usually either those who have never actually seen the pain of war, traumatic injuries and the agony that goes with it, or they are twisted beyond belief and in desperate need of prayer and salvation.
Most clinicians who have the gift of medical training and use those skills to save or improve lives are not the folks who like this stuff. They are more likely to go for the “funny” outfits.
I HATE halloween and all the nuts that go with it.
