It's bad enough when your prostitute doesn't deliver as promised. Just don't call the police.
A 22-year-old Madison man found that out early in the morning on Sept. 23, when he felt he didn't get what he paid for from an "escort," called police for help, and ended up getting a $681 ticket for soliciting a prostitute.
"In his eyes, he had been victimized in a classic bait and switch, paid for services not rendered, and reached out to the police to make him whole again," said Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain.
The incident happened at the man's residence on Atwood Avenue.
He paid $200 to an escort he found on the Internet.
"He understood the $200 price to include 'everything,' but in the end, he didn't get 'everything,'" DeSpain said. "He did get something, but was told by the escort that 'everything' would cost another $100."
He told the woman he didn't have any more money and wanted his $200 back because in his reasoning, she didn't live up to her end of the bargain.
The man told police the escort was thin, blonde and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She was accompanied by another woman, also blonde and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, but considerably heavier.
"He said she (the other woman) was likely the escort's director of security," DeSpain said.
The two women were not at the residence when the police officer interviewed the "victim."
"The officer asked him if he knew prostitution was illegal," DeSpain said. "He said he knew that.
"The officer asked him if he knew he just paid for a prostitute. He said he knew that.
"The officer then inquired as to whether he would call the police when he knew he had just committed a crime."
He had a reasonable explanation.
"The man said he works hard for his money and he felt the police would get his payment (to the escort) back for him," DeSpain said.
The officer told the man he would see if he could identify the prostitute, but also explained to the man that he would not be getting his money back, even if it was recovered, because it had been used in the commission of a crime.
The officer didn't find the hooker and the man was out $881 $200 to the escort, $681 to the city.
Looks like he was the one that blew it.
What a lonely libtard.
A fool and his money...
Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Libs can never follow Pay-Go rules...LOL Classic up sell!
crooks iz dumb
a happy ending, but not quite like the one he had in mind
Did William Pitt get caught AGAIN? DU funnies for those that don’t know.
A fat wingman is a sure sign of trouble..... Or so I hear.
p
“And she stole my cocaine too, Officer.”
Yea, verily.
Screwed by a hooker, then bent over by the city.
Legal and physical implications: Once he got "something", he no longer had a leg to stand on.
Buy sexuals tend to be stupid.
That’s what I call a happy ending.
Mark
He had a hooker come to his house?!?
Is he stup...
...Oh wait.... never mind.
1. He's lucky that wasn't a cop. He blew (pun intended) that luck by calling the cops.
2. Diseases.
3. Why the hell did he let those two IN HIS HOUSE? He's lucky they didn't tie him up and rob him.
BTW - In other news, the name of the guy ticketed is George Costanza.
