Explain how, and why you think, Palin could defeat Obama ( Vanity )
10/3/11

Posted on 10/03/2011 6:51:37 PM PDT by sushiman

I was supporting Cain , but for a variety of reasons have ended that support . There's no one else currently running whom I wouldn't have to hold my nose for when voting . I've always thought that Palin was unelectable ( if she ran , obviously ) , but am open to being convinced otherwise . Thanks in advance .

Anyone who runs can defeat Obama, accept maybe Paul.

Palin has a lot of baggage, first off being she seems to want to be anointed.

With due respect, I don’t really buy into the premise yet.....need more info (why Cain, then why not, etc....)..

Times are tough. You should try and conserve your commas.

I was supporting Cain and I still am. Sarah cannot defeat Obama because she is not running for office.

And you are still dreaming of throwing hand grenades. They mock what they don't, won't or are incapable of understanding. Deal with the real issues and leave your stink bombs at the frat house.

I do not think that Sarah Palin could defeat Hussein Obama.
However, she is eminently more qualified to hold the office of President of the United States.

So being smart equals wanting to be annointed?

When has she ever acted as if she should be annointed. She is not Barack Obama.

She can't. Of all the potentials only she and Paul can't.

Palin can beat O'Bunghole by running. If she runs, she'll win by 15-20 points. Historic mandate landslide.

Uhm, by getting the majority of electoral votes, sushiman. That’s how things work here in the United States.

Wouldn't mind a more personable and up close example of democracy... like the people marching on Washington and throwing the bums out of the White House, Senate, House, Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, Education, Health and Human Services, Interior, Labor, State...

But aside from Jeffersonian opinions about the care of the tree of liberty, the truth is it is up to the candidate to articulate the reasons to vote for them. Sarah's not done that yet. Sure, there's some great quips and whatnot, but at the moment, she's running on a full load of Hope and Change and very little of that underlying platform, not to mention the lack of being a candidate at this point.

Seriously, it's October, the first primaries are three months away, time to put the Ouji boards away and time for the candidates to stand up for themselves.

Myself, I think the first one who figures out that this is a national election, and that their running mates are every member of Congress who'll work with them, will be the one who carries it across the goal line come convention time. If it's still empty campaign speeches by that point, the contest is lost and liberals already won.

As long as socialism is killed and all its pogroms, and all those that supported Obama are tarred and feathered I don’t really care who gets nominated.

But I have a pretty good feeling knowing who it will be.

Frankly I don’t want to know strategies, and if I were privy to them I would exercise OPSEC procedures.

Looks like I may be off of FR for awhile. But then again I do have a bunch of cuddly kitten pics to post to keep me actively engaged.

Palin has been around for a few years now, ever since Mccain picked her to run for VP. She hasn’t hidden, she is outspoken.

If you do not know her views and platforms by now explaining is a waste of time. You wouldn’t understand.
