addition...and in any case, the child still became a citizen via naturalization and was never considered a natural born. Natural born = parents citizens prior to birth of the child, period.

I am just telling you what was in the "naturalization act of 1790" which was passed by the first congress, (many of whom were delegates the constitutional convention and therefore knew what they voted on) and explicitly refers to such children as "natural born citizens."

Many of the Framers, Franklin among them, were completely fluent in French. Date of translation does not apply!

It’s too bad they didn’t forsee the american electorate actually becoming dumb enough to willfully vote in their ideal candidate ,eh?

Their plan *depended* on a stupid electorate! How else could they be sure a half-foreigner who hates the Republic and announced his intention to “fundamentally transform’ it would be elected?!?

No. The court was quite specific. They noted that some people regard only people born in the U.S. of citizen parents as natural-born citizens, while others believe that any person born in the U.S. is a natural born citizen. And while noting that those adhering to the first definition doubted the validity of the second, the court also specifically said that they were not saying which side, if either, was incorrect. The Minor case does not settle the matter.

Are you pro-life, or pro-abortion? How do you define life?

“Obama is exactly the kind of POTUS the Framers wanted! In their foresight, they envisioned a time when *only* a half-foreign, foreign-raised man w economic views antithetical to capitalism and a profound hatred for the Republic as founded, could sufficiently “transform” the country. He is the Won they were waiting for! He is the very reason for the NBC clause! They ***wanted*** a foreigner [half in heritage, one-hundred percent in mindset] to occupy the highest office and remake the Republic in his image! Yes, Obama is A-Okay—He’s the WON!”

Exactly, the framers knew the citizens should be disarmed for the safety of the standing army and only a dual citizen would have the courage to try such a noble constitutional effort. /s

You posted a long message. I don't bother reading those when you post them. Life it too short to bother reading crap.

This is simple dude. "Natural" means "natural". It means an inherent characteristic from which you cannot be deprived. It is like hair or eye color. It is your "natural" condition.

"Natural" citizenship works that way too. So does life. You get it when you are conceived, not when you are born.

Happy Rosh Hashana to you too. I see you haven't actually read Exodus 34 past verse 1 because the mixing of things goes back to the garden & thus the reason for no idol worship thus the reason for not mixing linen & wool in the same garment, though wearing a wool garment over a linen one is perfectly suitable according to YHVH.

your absurd suggestion that there is some “second set” of

The problem here is I never said “2nd set of commandments”, I said 2nd set as in tablets. Thus you assumed wrong as does your sarcastic & unappreciated comment about Hebraic perspective. Most Christians have & still do grow up learning the Scriptures from a Greco-Roman/Latin mindset which is linear compared to Hebrew which is circular/cyclical. So if I was you, I wouldn't be so quick to assume & to ridicule that which you don't know because you have never studied the Scriptures from Greco-Roman/Latin dogma. So maybe when the Jews start understanding American history from the American Biblical point of view in which it was founded upon going back to the Mayflower Compact that was based on the Scriptures rather than some man-made mindset like that of the man-made doctrine of the Talmud, they might realize that they once again broke Covenant by voting for a person who is not of the brethren, i.e. Obama; i.e. Rubio.

Now excuse me, I have bread to make for the Sabbath.

I wish the ambassador’s children all the best.

They must follow their natural condition. If their "natural" condition is decided by WHERE they were born, then they can only be American citizens whether they like it or no.

The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case it is not necessary to solve these doubts.

Notice that the underlined raises the possibility that these might be citizens, but it definitely does not include them in the class of "natives, or natural-born citizens."

A point so many silly twits simply cannot comprehend. I suppose they cannot conceive of the founders having a talent which they do not possess.

This may come in handy. I transcribed what Mark Levin said. If the Vattle Birthers can ignore the court cases and quote Vattle, we should be able to do the same and quote Mark Levin, who is a American lawyer, right back at them!!!

“I want you to listen to me on my social sites. Marco Rubio was born in Miami, Florida. He is a natural born United States citizen. And if I get any more of this Birther crap up there. . .this is a warning, and I don’t care who you are, you’re going to be banned. Okay? This is a site I put up for rational people. Marco Rubio was born in Miami, Florida in 1940, excuse me, 1971. He’s 40. There’s no debate. So take that Birther crap somewhere else. Just a warning. . .got it? I’m not into all that crap. You can go somewhere else for that.

Finally, someone who gets it. The Framers did not WANT the Republic preserved as they founded it. They only wanted it to last until a half-foreigner arose who *hated* it, and saw the need to “fundamental transform” it. They of all people would be happiest over the destruction Obama is wreaking. This is what they wanted!

You’re certain, then, that every president we’ve ever had in the WH had both parents born in the USA ?

Vattel did not use the French phrase for “natural born citizen”. The word translated thus 10 years after the Constitution was “indigenes”, which has an English counterpart: indigenous.

FYI..you do know that the Israelites did not think that they were worshiping a false god at the base of Mt Sanai don’t you? But in YHVH’s mind, that is exactly what they were doing. Thus the laws of not mixing good & evil were formally written down. Linen has healing qualities thus mixing it with wool takes away its power to heal, the same way worshiping idols takes away the healing power of YHVH. GET THE PICTURE!

Absolutely correct, Vattel used the French term for native which is exactly what YHVH defined in the Scriptures. Thank you for playing & agreeing with me.
