Rick Perry is not much different than Lyndon B. Johnson.

I guess I don't have a heart by posting this, eh ? Mark my words, this guy is not a conservative. He did more to defend the legacy of Lyndon B. Johnson last night than promote Goldwater-Reagan conservatism. When my mom was born in the 1960s, the United States had been enjoying a time of great economic prosperity under the leadership of John Kennedy and Dwight Eisenhower. A tragedy in Dallas left the country into the hands of Texan who may have been a good dad to his daughters, but he was a nightmare that is still haunting the USA. As the nation was healing from the loss of President Kennedy, President Johnson used words like Perry used last night to play on the feelings of a Christian/Catholic country that they needed a "great society" as if America wasnt already great. It was a massive financial fraud and it destroyed the trust people had in the Democratic party for years. Playing on peoples hearts.

Rick Perry is not a conservative. Rick Perry will take your money and try to build some "Mexican Great Society" in the American Southwest. If you get this S.O.B. elected, he will be a big governement Republican that would continue many Obama policies. He is not being honest to you when he talks about social security. He wouldn't touch anything. Lord help us, the money printing would continue and the US dollar would then eventually need replaced for real.

I hope and pray Sarah Palin gets in the race.

+1

I gave money to his campaign to blunt Rongney.

Hope my dream girl decides to take on these lacklusters....

If not I’ll ante up again for Michelle.

He’s pro-marriage, anti-homo, anti-abortion, for small government, supports feds enforcing the border, anti tax, pro-business and job creation, pro-military, a leader and responsible, handles natural disasters and crises well, holds democrats at bay, stands up to Obama and Napolitano.

The only other republican out there with these credentials is Sarah Palin and she is not running (yet). I would love to see a Perry-Palin ticket. They would win by a landslide over Ocriminal.

As opposed to Romney the Invisible Obamacare guy, and Hutsman the Red Chinese candidate, seems to me the only other choice is Ron Paul, and he is too goofy.

You're right the poster is a bit whacked and has been drinking the Perry Tea being dispensed.

Anyone who listened to why he allows kids of illegals to pay in-state tuition rates would understand it makes sense, doesn't cost the state (extra beyond the original situation), and is only in place because the Feds won't enforce the immigration laws.

He also made it clear that he would secure the border because without that, the rest of the situation will never be managable. He also supported Arizona's law that Obummer decided to sue over.

Yet, folks act as if it's his fault there are illegal Mexicans in Texas and that it's because he prefers it that way.

It seems to me that he is a realist and does the best with a lousy situation that he can.
