I can hear the heads of the Perry-bots exploding now. But, my Governor, Rick Perry, is embarrassing me again. This is his third Debate and instead of getting better, he's getting worse. Instead of answering the question about Social Security, he got off on State Pension Plans for State Employees. He was asked what he would do if he was President and got a call at 3:00 a.m. informing him that Pakistan's Nuclear weaponry had been taken over by the Taliban; what would he do? He never answered the question and started talking about making sure India knows that we're their friend. He tried to discredit Romney two times and both times he came across as "not knowing what he's talking about" and making false claims. More than once in the Debate, Romney (the RINO) and Senator Rick Santorum, made this professional politician, who became a millionaire off of political cronyism, look like the friggin' light-weight he is. If you were disappointed in George W., you'll be on Prozac during the Perry Administration. DAMN! I'M EMBARRASSED!
9 CANDIDATES STANDING UP ON THAT STAGE AND I CANT PICTURE MY SELF VOTING FOR EITHER ONE OF THEM...Even for dog catcher
He's a Democrat.
Perry is toast.
I agree with your analysis. Perry seems like he has been overcoached and is struggling to remember what his handlers have told him. Stumbling, bumbling, fumbling, not what I want to see in a POTUS.
So far, and sure it’s early, but it is lining up to be either Perry or Romney. I won’t say I’m overjoyed about either, but I will vote for either of them over Obama.
Up here in Washington... We don’t get a say in the primary. We get to vote for whoever we get.
Your opinions can get easily lost in the middle of a 1,000 post live debate thread.
Why doesn’t Perry just explain S.S. like Paul Ryan does, that people over 55 won’t be touched, etc.. Does he want to scare seniors?
I can understand why a Texan might feel embarrassed but unless you are a Perry supporter you shouldnt be. Its those who support his liberal policies who should feel embarrassed.
My thought is, how do you get to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?
Practice. Perry needs lot of it. Romney and several others are more canned but people want that stuff.
BTW, Rick Santorum, a doing nothing going nowhere also ran, pinned Perry's ears to the wall on subsidizing illegals' education at the expense of native born Americans. Perry puked all over the stage on his answer.
I think Perry is a dead duck waddling.
Well we know Gary Johnson listens to El Rushbo. He just stole Rush’s line about his dogs creating more shovel ready jobs than Obama.
In-state tuition rates for illegal immigrants makes no sense. Why should illegals get a better deal than Americans?
But he stuck to it, and said that anyone who disagrees is mean and unfeeling.
Perry will be the nominee. Sorry, but it will happen.
That maybe true and time will tell. But as a resident of Texas I can tell you I think Perry is in over his head big time. Now that isn’t to say he can’t recover and get some polish but he’s got a damn long ways to go. Romney ate his lunch and Perry didn’t even know that Romney was licking his plate clean.
It’s not like there were a lot of good choices in the last couple of elections.
Romney took liberal position after liberal position but you apparently don’t care. okay, I give. If you “true conservatives” want Romney you can have him. I accept there is no longer a conservative movement or Tea Party opposition. I won’t vote for him but please spare me the complaints when Obama is either elected or Romney is elected and delivers nothing conservative to the table.
If you are tired of the endless foreign wars you will support RON PAUL.
