I know what you mean. I’m a 98er, but was lurking before I signed up. I didn’t know you could register if it wasn’t your own computer!
But I bet we all remember when we first found FR and realized there were all these strangers here who were our new best FRiends.

I am humbled.
I actually started lurking about 3 months earlier, but lost the password, or something - it got messed up to the point I just reregistered.
Think there are about a half dozen who came over here from the Reagan forum (Mike Reagan used to have a forum), that one was pretty un-moderated, and seriously went to hell in a ham sandwich!!

One of the threads the other day was about the TV girls you first had a crush on. I posted a few but I FORGOT to mention my very first. Dagmar on "I Remember Mama."
Here's is the only pic I could find.
She's the little girl seated. The boy seated is a young Dick Van Patton. The show ran in the early 50's and I used to watch it every week.
We had the only TV on the street, a LARGE for it's time RCA unit. All the neighbors would come over and I'd watch sitting on my Grandma's lap. Afterward she'd play an old upright piano while everyone gathered round and sang along.
Boy have THOSE times passed!
