Someday Never Comes
Creedence Clearwater Revival, from the “Mardis Gras” album, 1972- by John Fogarty
Anyone who wants to hear it will have to find it on their own.
Watch those tears, guys!
Cheesy as it was WASPs Forever Free.
May the Circle be Unbroken, reminds me of losing my mom.
Star Spangled Banner, used to bring chills now tears.
“Cats in the Cradle” by Harry Chapin
Not emotionally-related, but any cut off the Bob Dylan Christmas album would bring most any normal person to tears.
MUSKRAT LOVE - chokes me up every time I hear it.
“Niiblin’ on bacon
Chewin’ on cheese”
You just don’t find that kind of emotion in songs anymore.
Dan Fogelberg - leader of the band
First time I heard Toby Keith’s American Soldier...
“I don’t want to die for you
but if dying’s asked of me,
I’ll bear that cross with honor
‘cause freedom don’t come free.”
Tears in Heaven.
Two for me:
Not sure of the title but Mike and the Mechanics: It’s too late when we die - on the radio on my drive from New Hampshire 1/2 hour after being at my dad’s bedside with his last breath.
The other with Mercy Me - when he stands in Jesus presence on that day.
“My Woman, My Wife” by Marty Robbins
“I Will Remember You” - Sarah Mclachlan
I am a woman but I can tell you the song that brings my husband to tears...Dancing With Cinderella, by Stephen Curtis Chapman. After Stephen’s daughter died in the horrible accident that song was heart-breaking enough, but then our older daughter picked that as her daddy-daughter dance at her wedding. If any man here who has a daughter doesn’t get misty-eyed over that song!
