What's the message -- if any -- in the NY-9 election result?
No message. It's just voters choosing one candidate over another.
The message is: Bad news for Obama. It's a clear rejection of the president's policies.
Not sure, but it looks like Democrats could be in trouble in November 2012.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
Do I hear the sound of a toilet flushing with lots of turds being moved back into the sewers from which they came?
The “message” would be: FUBO
Apologies to Pink Floyd. They were just on the radio.

A Republican won the House seat in New York’s 9th Congressional District Tuesday in a special election to replace former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner. It’s the first time since 1922 that voters in the heavily Democratic district had sent a Republican to Congress. What’s the message — if any — in the NY-9 election result?

The message is: Bad news for Obama. It's a clear rejection of the president's policies.
But I think the way S.O.S121.500 said it is better:
"The message would be: FUBO "
No message. I’m completely clueless about the destruction of the country and can’t figure out the question.
2.39% (888 votes)
The message is: Bad news for Obama, the marxist Demwits, and the RINOs. It’s a clear rejection of the president’s communist policies.

Got to wonder at the dem-o-rats who ran an “Orthodox” Jew who didn’t live in the district, was pro homo and wasn’t going to move to the district if he won.
Yes, well Rush was saying that because of redistricting, that seat was going to be eliminated anyway, but I do believe that a statement was made, and a loud one.
I believe the Orthodox Jews tend to follow their Rabbis advice in politics. Maybe no direct endorsements, but the hint gets thru. Different sects may be different about this.
The big sect is the Lubavitchers.
I really don’t know. I’m pro-Israel and pro-Jew, but I really don’t know how they form their political opinions.
I can only pray that American Jews become more conservative.
I only know what I have read. Many of the Jews killed in the Mumbai massacre were Lubavitchers.
Oh! Maybe that will wake American Jews up from their Hopey Changey dreams from zer0’s father.
