LonePalm, le Républicain du verre cassé (The Broken Glass Republican)
A Republican won the House seat in New York’s 9th Congressional District Tuesday in a special election to replace former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner. It’s the first time since 1922 that voters in the heavily Democratic district had sent a Republican to Congress. What’s the message — if any — in the NY-9 election result?
No message............. It’s just voters choosing one candidate over another. 2.37% (839 votes)
The message is:............ Bad news for Obama. It’s a clear rejection of the president’s policies. 87.87% (31,052 votes)
Not sure,............... but it looks like Democrats could be in trouble in November 2012. 9.29% (3,283 votes)
Other (post your comment)................ 0.47% (166 votes)
