These photos were taken at the San Francisco airport at the exact same time, Obamas age and history of his father being deported doesn't make sense.
I wasn’t necessarily birthing this photo. I have been through customs in S.F. during the exact time this photo was taken. I am almost positive it was taken in customs, which means Obama was with his father traveling to the US from another country. Plus I also see just can’t see her hooking up with him, can you?

It’s hard for me to believe INS let him back into the country after what Harvard reported to them. Immigration was very strict in those days.
The child in that picture is very chunky and would have grown up to be a big guy. That’s not Obama.
Obama Sr had extremely long fingers. Look for the picture of him sitting at a desk.
Your photo does look like fake hands until you start looking at his gigantic hands in other photos.
Do we have any evidence that they were taken at the same time? One could be his arrival and the other his departure.
that’s what I think as well. there seem to be two sets of pictures of Obama when he was a kid, and this one ressembles the Honolulu Star photo, sent in by a Japanese American guy of when he and Obama were—eight? Plus the one where is mother is holding him at the zoo.
Then there are others of little Obama playing in the surf where he has that triangular sort of facial structure that he does now. A thin face, big eyes.
Or maybe I’m just seeing things.

As I understand it, Obama saw his father at about this age when his father stopped in Hawaii between planes (I don't remember if he was supposed to have stayed a couple of days).
Certainly Obama's mom's dress is right for that period (say 1967-73).
Presumably the deportation (which I think was only a year or two after Obama was born) would have cancelled Obama Sr.'s student visa. As a Kenyan government official, I expect it would have been easy for him to have obtained a new visa several years later.
Where did you get the information that these photos were taken at the SF Airport? I was under the impression Obama was supposed to have seen his father in Honolulu. (I was in the SF Airport at least eight times from 1964-69 and a couple of times in 1974, but I certainly couldn't say if the photos were taken there or not.)
Is there any info in Obama's autobiography which gives a time of year for his father's visit? Certainly those photos seem to contain Christmas decorations. So if Obama's autobiography says his father's visit was in the summer, the Christmas decorations might indicate the photos were Photoshopped.
Wouldn't the "San Francisco" sign be more likely to refer to the origin or destination of a flight? How likely would it be to have such a sign within that part of the airport? Theoretically, everyone knows what city they're in, and aside from a few "Welcome to" signs or "SF Airport" signs, I wouldn't expect to see a small sign like that inside the SF Airport.
The guy in the background is different in the two pictures.

Actually I was just having fun - I couldn’t tell what the controversy was all about in this thread so I pointed out the only thing I could see that appeared disparate. I can’t promise I won’t do it again...;-)
Barack is a lying bastard and he fuddled his parents' history at numerous times to fit the narrative. Just try to map out the timeline of his life to the speech he gave to black Democrats in Selma. He said that his parents came together AFTER the march. They were split by then. He says his daddy came to America because of a program Robert Kennedy put into place. He was conceived even before JFK took the White House.
