The internals of the most recent round of polling indicate that Obama is about to fall even further in favorability, perhaps even into the 20's!
What would really be sweet is if he takes his usual woman's prerogative to be late, then drones on and on once he's on stage.

I think you’re right on the mark here; his blame game was at full tilt for weeks leading up to the congressional elections last November, it kicked into high gear again hard during the debt ceiling crisis and will continue through next November as he campaigns. The American people will get to the point where they are damn sick and tired of listening to his blame blame blame ad nausium. Once they tune him out on this, his only hope is the the economy comes raging back. Given his policies, this isn’t likely.

If they drop into the 20’s, the Rats will start working to convince him to resign so they can have a crack at the presidency in 2012. They really cannot primary him and expect to keep the black vote.

If these green jobs, and the half-billions they ate up, keep disappearing, and if unemployment is above 9% in December, he’s gone. The polls will continue to drop, and they are going to plunge again when he opens his yap again to reveal he doesn’t have a plan for jobs. He asked for another week on the deadline on his term paper, and he’ll still fail it, because this isn’t Harvard and nobody is going to give him a pass because he’s black when they are on food stamps, yet bailing out banks, car companies, and hedge funds.
That he was a failure will be more than a forgone conclusion and will be deemed ‘stipulated’. Democrats will shift the focus to ‘How do we work together to fix things?’ and the whole matter, when brought up by Republicans, will be looked at as ‘detrimental to the process’ or ‘counterproductive’.
You don’t have to tell people America is failing. Many are neck-deep in the failure, a majority voted Democrat. People are going to be looking for a credible plan. Clinton, and that speech of his to those workers in New England somewhere, where he straight-up told them, “They aren’t coming back, but here’s what we are going to do . . .” People will glom onto the first believable thing that emerges from the cacophony.
The biggest losers if Obama doesn’t run will be the Press, and don’t think for a minute the Democrats won’t throw those guys under the bus. The Press has NOWHERE TO GO, and it was their job to vet Baraq, not the party’s.

I can see the quote on Politico right now, and they are the future. Howard Dean will utter it, or better still, Hillary will pop up and say, “I knew it, gave what I had to NBC, and they spiked it. Maybe so. But probably not nearly as badly. Black anger would be able to focus on a particular person (the challenger in the primaries) in the case of a primary challenge. It would not be so focused in the case of a resignation. Zero would blame the Republicans (and, of course, George Bush) when he resigned so that would direct some of the anger to R’s.

Dick Morris is smoking crack. Unions, Blacks, gays, and the “environmentalists” aren’t going to leave 0bama no matter how many times he renews the Patriot Act, extends Bush’s tax cuts, wages new wars in Libya and beyond, keeps Gitmo open, and loses jobs at home.
They want symbolism, and no one else can give them the kind of symbolism that 0bama can.
Future WH’s and Congresses will work to repeal it. I can’t figure out where the weapon systems on the subs are going to go with all the accommodations you need to make for all the gender variations.
