Hi, Meg! I’ve missed you! That is an adorable ‘pretty in pink’ lil’ gal! Glad you got some rain - hoping and praying for more!
I would follow HIM anywhere! I’ve always said “he’s so good looking, he’s pretty!”
She is adorable in pink OR whatever color!
Well, I had a Glucose Tolerance Test this morning, and I was so dehydrated they couldn’t get any blood at first. They had to stick me FOUR TIMES! Then I went out to teach 6 lessons.
I only got to do 3 before I had to crawl home, ready to collapse.
A very scary ride.
The deer is just starting to get little baby antlers. :-)
Thank You, Jaycee!
Oh, I just LOVE the looks on the doggies’ faces!
(((HUGS)))
“Hadn’t Noticed”, hmmmm.
Oh so sweeeeet!
Hadn’t noticed and look at that tongue. Looks as if he may have been eating ‘bird’.....LOL!
I hate that you had to go through that glucose tolerance test! It is a REAL bummer - having to drink that gagging sweet stuff!
After all these years, you would think they could come up with better solutions to get the final results!!!
Hope your Mother Ginny is doing better - prayers continue!
((((HUGS))))
That was MY Impression!
The sweet icky stuff was bad enough...they had to stick me FOUR times to get enough blood for the test.
Both of my arms are Black and Blue.
Mom goes for her procedure tomorrow. They had to make sure all the blood thinner was out of her system.
Linda listens with rapt attention when I tell her stories! :-)
I will be praying for her, Mary-Lou!
It's WAY past time for some GOOD news for you...AND your mom!! ((((HUGS))))
(((((Lifting Heartfelt Prayers)))))))
(((((We Missed you)))))

Dr. Jack Mezirow, professor emeritus at Columbia Teachers College, believes that an essential element in adult learning is to challenge our own ingrained perceptions and examine our insights critically. Dr. Mezirow says that adults learn best when faced with what he calls a disorienting dilemmasomething that helps you critically reflect on the assumptions youve acquired (Barbara Strauch, The New York Times). This is the opposite of saying, My mind is made updont confuse me with the facts.
When Jesus healed on the Sabbath, He challenged the deeply held beliefs of many religious leaders, and they sought to silence Him (John 5:16-18). Jesus said to them: You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life (vv.39-40).
Oswald Chambers observed, God has a way of bringing in facts which upset a mans doctrines if these stand in the way of God getting at his soul.
Unsettling experiences that cause us to question our assumptions about the Lord can also lead us to a deeper understanding and trust in Himif were willing to think it through and come to Him.
