Darrell McHargue Charged In Connection With Boy's Rape
SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. -- A 48-year-old Shepherdsville man is accused of raping a 12-year-old boy in the woods a few miles from his home.
The rape took place Saturday night, police said.
The suspect was arrested and charged with first-degree rape just hours later, but he has since posted bond and been released to house arrest, leaving the young victim's mother outraged.
"My son calls my husband, his dad answers the phone and he says, 'Dad, I've been raped, get down here,'" said the victim's mother, who asked that WLKY not reveal her identity.
Police said a wooded area off Tuts Road in Shepherdsville is where 48-year-old Darrell McHargue raped a 12-year-old boy Saturday night.
They said the victim was walking with a few friends when a white car that had been circling the neighborhood stopped near them.

I don’t think that she was implying that Meatloaf isn’t straight. She was commenting on this statement:
“it says a great deal about why abstinence until marriage is so important”
Recall the lyrics of “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.” Caught up in the heat of the moment with raging hormones, to get what he wants he promises that he will “love her ‘till the end of time,” then after it becomes “so now we’re praying for the end of time ...”
For varmints that's a perfectly acceptable procedure. For dirtbags like child rapists, I would be happier leaving off the first 'S'
Hell, if it wouldn't leave an evidence trail I'd suggest burying the dirtbag with an oxygen supply so they have a few hours to mull things over.
Is is a horrible thing to do to a child and I am saddened to the depths of my humanity by your experience. I don't expect my thoughts to matter to you. I haven't earned that right.
I responded to a post that said all, that's all, as in 100%, as in every single one, of gay men had been molested as a child. I said I didn't believe that and I let it drop at that.
I read post #43 by little jeremiah as you suggested. I can believe that Post #43 could be true, but it doesn't say all gay men were molested as a child; it says 80%. I don't ask that my belief matter to you. It's hard to express emotion in text, but please know that I say that with humility and not in any cocky sense.
I would, however, like you to know that you and your experience matter to me as a fellow human being. Although I can never understand your pain, I've experienced no small amount of pain today from your disclosure. I don't believe anyone ever heals from the experience of molestation, but I wish you all of the continued healing that is possible.
Now all I want to do is to hold my children and tell them I love them.
I’m sorry I was snappish!!! I tend to get that way once in awhile, no excuse though. You can heal from that kind of abuse but, you can’t do it without the help of the Holy Spirit and forgiving the person who did it. I’ve done both. It took years to come to this place though. Even until my mid-30’s I blamed myself for not stopping it. Even though I was only 4, I just couldn’t get past that thought.
It is true, shocking, but the younger the child, in essence the more ‘innocent’ and trusting - the more vulnerable to having their sexuality perverted by even one encounter, particularly the very invasive kind.
This is why NAMBLA has an expression (pardon the vulgarity):
“F=== ‘em by eight, or it’s too late.” In other words, have sex with a boy before age 8 and you create a homosexual for life.
What’s worse is the counterfeit romance that molesters give to victims, male or female, and put incredibly distorted information to the kid’s mind. Personally, I think that plenty of behaviors can only be so compulsive or appealing if impressed upon someone extensively.
What I would add to the list is the practice of cohabitation. Given how active plenty of cohabitating adults are regarding religion, not to mention what plenty of religious authorities have had to say to deaf ears about cohabitation, I would reckon that if more people bothered going through the actual marriage process, even if just as a church sacrament, I feel that there would also be far more people who would care about how sacred marriage is. I mean think about it, marriage is a special commitment. If someone isn’t willing to make the full commitment, how sacred does he/she think that marriage is?
Well, IMO, I would agree with the idea of castration to drastically reduce the risk of repeat offense.
Exactly!!! Young minds can be easily molded and influenced, either in a good way, or a bad way.
NO no no no... I just read what one poster said about imprinting, and a man's first sexual experience, and then I thought of all the many Meatloaf songs with lyrics involving the back seat of a car...
