I wonder if she will seek orin hatch’s endorsement.
To: Gargantua
I believe she will either announce on this day, or she will tell the crowd the date on which she intends to annouce. If the latter, she will also hint strongly at what that announcement will be, and nobody will go home diappointed.
IMHO.

I’ve got bigger things to worry about..... such as will my Palin for President t-shirt arrive before I make the long drive to Iowa next week?

The day Palin announces, she will evoke what both Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher stood for.
It will be the day we see an amazing campaign with the type of optimism that the late Reagan stood for--evoking reminders of "Morning in America" and telling people to return to the days of American exceptionalism.

What concerns me now is Sarah’s statement on Greta that Hillary is more Presidential than Obama, and that many wish they could have the choice again. Why only several months ago, Hitlery called Assad a “reformer”. She is a kook and a dunce, and while it may be good politics to speak well of Rotten Clinton, it’s time that someone unmasked this nutty, anti-Semitic Marxist as well. It’s possible at this juncture that this slimeball may be the nominee! There is nothing good to say about her whatsoever.

It appears she may actually run. If she does, I fear it will be the worst political miscalculation of her career. She
might be able to win the nomination. However, I see no path for her to win the general election. In the 3 years since she was placed on the ticket with McCain, she has shown an ability to win over the conservative base, but no ability to win over moderate Republicans and independents - two groups she MUST have in order to win the general election. At the moment, she has near 100% name recognition, so people know who she is. Unfortunately, more than 50% of those people have decided that they don't like her. And it is much harder to change the minds of people who already don't like you than to persuade the uncommitted.
She can't even count on having an inspired base against a dispirited opposition. While I have no doubt that Sarah's supporters will cross broken glass to vote foe her, I also have no doubt that she will inspire the same level of fervor in her opponents.
I could be wrong, and if she gets the nomination, I hope that I am wrong. But after more than 40 years of observing presidential politics, I don't see how she can win this cycle. And if she runs now and loses, she will be finished in national politics.

Sarah is appearing with Glenn Beck somewhere, in October. I don’t think she would declare before that event.

How can Sarah succeed in winning over enough of the general voters to win, on November 7, 2012? I do hope that, if she’s the final ‘12 GOP Presidential pick, she can win it all (and ditto, if it’s somebody else that’s the final ‘12 GOP Presidential pick, please and thank you).
