The harp guitar has been around a while, but someone added a dulcimer-type rig under it

VERY COOL TUNE

ok, kewl and all that; pretty music.

But that's a heavily processed and accompanied sound. Switch off the accompaniment tracks and signal processing and have a listen, if you can.

It reminds me of the pan flute players all over Manhattan. Lot's more going on with their sound than just the flute.

At least he had the good taste to name it “Steve”.

My kid and I went to the Ruth Eckard Hall in Clearwater last year to see Pat Metheny. While an interesting show technically we were both very disappointed as he spent the time experimenting with playback features instead of his customary fine musical preformances.

Now there’s a crying need for a guitarist with four extra hands.

A 27 string guitar.

Someone more learned that I can correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that just a six string stuck in the middle of an autoharp? Don't get me wrong, it's cool, took a lot of work and he can play, but it's not technically a 27 string guitar.

Twotone, that kind of reminds me of a guy who lives not too far from me, Eric Loy. He’s probably on youtube. Plays a harp guitar, a fan of John Renbourne, et al. Your comment about wimp.com is correct. Fun diversion.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to check Eric Loy out.

It certainly was a different kind of concert....I’ve seen the PMG 6 times throughout the years. It was still fun to see all of the gadgets.

I just hope he and Lyle can get back together soon, it’s been awhile.

So that's the type of animal they barbecue at a local restaurant named Oinkadoodlemoo.

Roger McGuinn had a twelve string guitar, it was like nothing I’d ever heard.

I like Rick E, Neilson from Cheap Tricks 5 neck guitar better.

I'm partial to this setup, myself.

My kid and I went to the Ruth Eckard Hall in Clearwater last year to see Pat Metheny.

Took more than one first date to that very show back in the day. Once at Tampa Theater, too.

Paul Wertico did the funkiest, most awesome drum solo I've ever seen.

This was the show he was referring to, the Orchestrion Tour, he had a bunch of instruments that would respond to notes played on the guitar via the use of solenoids.

I have both DVDs and have been waiting what seems like forever for the 3rd.

It looks like there may never be one. They haven’t updated their webs site in years.
