The witness to this encounter now lives in another state, but spoke in great detail as he described the encounter he had while training in the military at Fort Stewart. I can add the following details to his report after talking to him:
The being had long, reddish-colored hair that appeared around four inches long, and matted. It moved on two legs, and had arms that were longer than a man's, that came about to the animal's knees. It moved off in a slow jog, taking what the witness described as "twice the normal step a man would take" as it headed for the treeline.
The animal emitted what the witness described as "a low, feel-it type of growl", which lasted close to thirty seconds.
The witness reported that he believed the animal's height to be between seven to eight feet tall, when he compared it at the time to nearby trees.
Additionally, the witness stated that back at camp that night he kept hearing activity coming from the woods that surrounded the camp. He heard sticks breaking, wood-on-wood sounds, something splashing in water, and what sounded like footsteps coming from the woods--first on one side of the camp, then the other. The noises lasted for four to five hours.
The witness told me that when he considers what it was he believes he saw, he could not see a man being that tall or moving that quickly, and that the only thing he could think of that it could be, was a bigfoot.
“It moved on two legs, and had arms that were longer than a man’s, that came about to the animal’s knees. It moved off in a slow jog, taking what the witness described as “twice the normal step a man would take” as it headed for the treeline. “
Sounds like a 1st SGT.
Whatever you do, don’t mess with sasquatch.
Heh. I was going to say something similar, only was going to say it was a Ranger in a ghillie suit.
I spent a lot of time in the swamps in and around Stewart in my Rangering days, long ago. Never saw any sasquatches or any weird critters, and I reckon that I was a lot quieter than most folks 'on maneuvers' down there.
There were several places that are pretty 'primeval' though.
The truth is out there...
Why weren't any of the others described as "we" interviewed? I wouldn't deny that this persons brain caused him to see and hear something. The question is, did anyone with him see, or hear anything?
Makes you wonder if they buy Nair in 5 gallon buckets, doesn’t it?
I’m cursed with a logical scientific mind. Animals like Sasquatch are scientifically impossible. Not that they couldn’t exist, but that if they existed, there would be a wealth of bones and other evidence left behind from their existence.
It stands to reason that if there is a Sasquatch, it had a mother who bore it and a father to sire it. That would mean an extended family. Hundreds. Thousands. Yet we find nothing of skeletal remains of these huge man beasts.
The lack of evidenciary forensic matter left behind from dead Sasquatch being completely absent, it stands to reason they cannot exist or have existed. Anybody of intelligence who gives this 30 honest seconds of thought will quickly come to that conclusion.
The ones who just have to believe this crap will have every ready made excuse in the book. “The skull and bones are eaten by other animals”. Yada.
Whatever.
Sasquatch do not exist and never have existed. There is a complete absence of any evidence.
Today, with the advent of camera phones which everyone owns, I won’t accept anything less than photographic documentary evidence for bigfoot men, Nessie monsters, ghosts, ET UFOs, yada.
Even then, I refuse to believe what I see when photoshop is so prevalent, when even youtube videos can be doctored to this level of realism:

Sounds like an old girlfriend of mine.
Chuckle....
IIRC, you also have the crypto list—or know who does. ;-’)
A Marine squad would have shot it, skinned it, eaten the good parts, flavored with Tabasco, sold the rest to some passing Doggies, swearing it was pork roast, and that it had stumbled into camp and dropped dead of a heart attack, on the soul of Chesty Puller.
They would have then stretched the hide, hair side down, over the hood of a Deuce and a half and used the brain to tan it and turn it into a company trophy...
Until some captain came along and told them to get rid of it...
Wow!
That would be an interesting story indeed, if the entire squad came forward with their versions of this fairytale.
Awh, Bull Shiite.
Evidence?!
Evidence?!
Evidence?!
You want what?!!!

We dated the same chick?
Must be a throw off off of Laz’s harem....
The truth IS out there. Unfortunately.
Agreed. It was probably Cousin Festus from Jesup who had ‘shine still lookout duty.
