Trude Nycole Anderson filed a civil complaint in U.S. District Court alleging that Derek Wright, owner of Pleasant Creek-based Lone Peak Controls and D&L Electric Control Co., sexually harassed her for years. Part of that harassment included a provocative memo mandating a day-by-day work attire schedule, the suit maintains.
A copy of the complaint obtained by the Salt-Lake Tribune outlines the proposed dress code. The schedule called for “Mini-skirt Monday,” “Tube-top Tuesday,” “Wet T-shirt Wednesday,” “No bra Thursday,” and “Bikini top Friday.”
Wright supervised Anderson at D&L Electric Control for almost four years. During that time, he “repeatedly asked Ms. Anderson about her breast size and talked about her breasts in front of other employees,” according to the complaint.
The 44-year-old Anderson also claims that Wright slapped her on the buttocks and taunted her.
A single mother, Anderson believes she was targeted because her supervisor knew she could not afford to lose her job and would be hesitant to report the harassment. Upon reporting her supervisor in February 2011, she was fired almost immediately.
Anderson is suing for wrongful termination as well as for battery and emotional distress.

I think she explained the delay when she said she couldn’t afford to lose her job. If this clown had this dress code he should be sued. And if he did it in front of other employees she’s got him dead to right. If not, it’s his word against hers EXCEPT for that work schedule.
And it appears he fired her right after she complained. That looks suspicious to me.
There are still idiots out there who treat women with disrepect.
No, I’d guess she was mad all along. A paycheck and benefits for her and dependent could have prompted her endurance. When she did complain, she was fired.
If the facts above are correct, she wins big and deserves it.

Since they’re not showing pictures, I cannot comment as to whether she should be complaining. Overall, if you’re a babe, you’d be advertising those facts.

I agree. This kind of crap in the workplace is ridiculous.
Official wet t-shirt days is obviously over the top, but the guy has struck a blow for every guy that ever considered a "nice dress" comment, and then thought better of it.
Wait we haven’t heard his side of the story yet, he has promised to reply as soon as he gets back from lunch at Hooters.
I strongly suspect this young woman had a low skill set or worked in a soft job market, which made switching positions more difficult to accomplish.
Utterly unprofessional.
I remember one time, as the boss was handing out paychecks, I was using the bathroom. When I returned, I asked if I could have mine, as well. In front of everyone, he announces, "Bend over, honey. I'll give you your paycheck."

I was new to the corporate world and turned to my parents for advice on how to handle a situation like that. My father was ready to take this guy's head off.
Whether meant as a joke or not, that "memo" will sink this guy in court. A good rule of thumb is, "If you would be embarrassed to show it to a pastor's wife, it doesn't belong in the workplace."
However, according to the males on this thread, treating a woman like this is perfectly fine.
Things like this is why I support concealed carry in the work place. It tends to reduce harassment real fast!
