She was a striking blonde who spent a lot of time in Hawaii, just like he did. She was an avid Sharks fan, just like him. She said all the right things and made it clear that she wanted him.
"I haven't had sex in so long," she cooed on their first date.
Deep down, Dave Dutcher -- unassuming aeronautics engineer, father of three, recently split from his wife -- suspected that his Match.com sweetheart was too good to be true. And when a wildly flirtatious second date ended in a DUI, Dutcher wondered whether his ex-wife was somehow connected to the woman who had fed him shots and invited him hot-tubbing with an equally coquettish friend.
Then, two years later, a major police corruption scandal centered on a Concord private investigator exploded, and a prosecutor confirmed Dutcher's suspicions: He had been set up.
Now, on Monday, in a Contra Costa County courtroom, Dutcher will get his first chance at redemption: A judge will consider whether the stain from that night -- one of the five cases known as Contra Costa County's "dirty DUIs" -- unfairly tinged his divorce settlement. And prosecutors have also taken the extraordinary position that they will not stand in the way if Dutcher wants to withdraw his no contest plea -- two years later -- and ask a judge to wipe the crime from his record.
It's a stunning reversal of fortune for a 49-year-old man who, by his own admission, made a terrible decision to get behind the wheel that night in late 2008 after leaving the Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Concord.
"I'm ashamed that I let my guard down," the Concord father said.
A kind of celebrity?
On that night, when his date and her friend flashed their breasts at Dutcher, he

A 'heads up' for those of us men who may be regular Home Depot customers.
Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you or your friends.
Here's how the scam works:
Two seriously good-looking 20-21 year-old girls come over to your car as you are loading your purchases into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts--it is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they simply say 'No', and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot or Lowes. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start undressing. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and starts crawling all over you, while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen on September 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th & 24th. Also on October 1st, 4th, twice on the 6th, three times just yesterday, and very likely this coming weekend.
So tell your friends to be careful.
linky....she no worky.
TTIWWP..... For assessing the guilt or innocence of the blonde in question.
I just need some more wallets.
A good rule of thumb: if you are thinking: ‘Wow! This is my lucky day!”, and you don’t usually have ‘lucky days’, you’re about to be had.
Doesn’t look blonde to me.
What does the DUI have to do with meeting a woman?
You were driving drunk.
You deserve to go to jail.
If they set you up, that’s a crime too.
And they deserve to go to jail.
You could have run over a little kid in your quest to get laid.
I have no sympathy.
LOL! Sounds like an addiction!
At least we was lucky enough to get away from the kind of woman who would do this to the father of her children. If he was an abusive horrible husband, maybe I could understand it. Otherwise, she is disgusting and should lose all support and all divorce settlement money with the exception of child support.
Agree with all of your statements.
You deserve to go to jail.
One doesn't go to jail for a 1st offense DUI with a BAC of 0.12.
If you sit down at the poker table and cannot spot the sucker in the first 5 minutes, YOU are the sucker.
God i love Rounders.
