Yes Ma'am, she is! :)

With all your self taught talents I have no doubt that you would be Lute playin' whiz in no time at all! (IF you had access to one!) If I hear of any I'll let you know! :)

There IS one in the secret basement room of the Museum of Fine Arts In Boston. It is over 600 years old, and a little frail. I did get to play a 300 year old harpsichord, but the lute was off-limits!

Fans are good to have when the AC isn’t effective or it goes out. Maybe next time your kids come visit, they can help you get it down and clean it up so you’ll have it handy. :)

The Lute is a Baroque Instrument.

Must be Bush’s fault.

Naw....Barack did it!

In Aramaic (The Language of Jesus), “Barak” means “lightening”

“O Bama” means “from the High Place”

as in “I saw satan fall from heaven like lightening from the high place” Luke 10.

Isn’t that just the weirdest thang?

To: Dubya

Job 12:10 ~ In His hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

Exodus 15:26 ~ For I am the Lord that healeth thee.

May you find comfort and encouragement in this Healing Confession, Dubya, and we rejoice as you experience the healing touch of the Great Physician. Amen and Amen ...

HEALING CONFESSION ~ Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Living Word. You said that Your Word is Life to those who find it and medicine to all their flesh. Today, by my confession, I apply Your Word to our body by giving voice to it. You said in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that Your works are marvelous. I declare that You made us and we are a marvelous creation. Proverbs 3:7-8 teaches that we are not to be wise in our own eyes; we are to fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to our body and nourishment to our bones.

I speak to sickness and disease today and proclaim that according to Philippians 2:10 that they must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every name in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth bows its knee to Jesus’ name.

I speak to our body today and declare that we have authority over it. I command it to receive the Living Word of God. Matthew 8:17 proclaims that Jesus bore our sickness and took our infirmities. Heavenly Father, I thank You that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and makes alive our mortal body.

I speak to our immune system and command it to line up with the Word of God. Our immune system will destroy sickness and disease in our body and perform its job, for this is what You created it to do. I thank You, Father, that every cell in our body responds to Your Word. Your Word permeates our body from the top of our head to the bottom of our feet. I confess that the Word of God is being made flesh in us. Psalm 103:3 declares that You, Father, forgave all our iniquities and healed all our diseases. Father, that is Your confession and I make it our confession also. We don’t judge by the sight of our eyes; we judge by Your Living Word. It is Your Word that lives in us and brings health and healing to every part of our body.

Heavenly Father, I rejoice at Your promise of divine health. You said it and I believe it. Today I declare that we will see Your Promise of healing manifest in our body. Healing is ours because Jesus paid the price two thousand years ago. God so loved us that He sent His Son to die on the cross so that we could experience life on God’s terms. O Father, Your abundant life is manifesting in us. Thank you for making us whole ~ body, soul and spirit. Amen …

The Unexpected
August 6, 2011

Toni was looking for what wasn’t really lost, and she found what she wasn’t looking for. As a result, a group of people got a spiritual boost they weren’t expecting.

Toni, who conducts a Bible study in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic in Alaska, was looking for her husband’s missing driver’s license. As she retraced his steps from the previous day, she visited a hospital. The missing license wasn’t there, but a Christian high school chorale was, and Toni was touched by their worshipful singing. She asked the director if the teens could sing for her Bible-study group that evening. They could, and they did—bringing hope, joy, and God’s love through music and post-concert conversation to some folks trying to put their lives back together.

Oh, and that driver’s license? Toni found it on a chair when she got back home. Apparently, the only reason she went out that day was so God could direct her to hear a bunch of teens who could minister to her rehab group.

When God guides us (Prov. 16:9), He works in ways we can’t predict. He can use even our inconveniences to bring honor to His name. When we face a seeming nuisance in our day, perhaps we should look not just for what we think we want but also for what God has for us that day.

Between the circumstance and me,
A Father’s loving hand
Is working all things for my good—
All moves at His command. —Anon.

God is behind the scenes and
controls the scenes He stands behind.
