RIP, now I know who they were talking about when I heard the “first Bond girl” had died.
I think I saw her in action watching a bio of Tyrone Power a while back.
She was very beautiful and she seems to have lived an interesting life during a very glamorous era. She must have been pretty smart too, if she wanted to be a doctor.
Perhaps she should have stuck with it, she might have been even more famous. Not that one goes into medicine for fame!

Yeah. Aging has been known to kill people. But then so has not aging.

‘There should be a law against getting old. : )’
Sure hope a lot of these beautiful folk make it to heaven because I ‘dream’ of seeing them once again!
Especially the really talented stars.
A few years ago it occured to me many of these actors were so dynamic that they must have left a trail of ‘energy’ here even as they departed.
(That was hard to express . . .)
This could be said of any high profile person who has done good things while here.
Including beloved relatives.
In any event, we are promised no more ‘gnashing of teeth,’ etc., so in a sense, those whose beauty we enjoy, will not age. . .
PS
The other day I was happy to see Jane Powell, the bubbly singer-actress of the ‘40’s and ‘50’s, filling in for Robert Osborne on TCM.
Until then, I didn’t know her ‘status - - -’

Maybe. But on the whole her life was better lived than was Amy Winehouse’s.

There should be a law against getting old. :)We have one now that Obamacare has signed the Death Panels into law.

Until then, I didnt know her status - - -Love Story was airing today though I didn't watch it because of it's utter stupidity. However, out of curiosity of Ali MacGraw's status, I searched and found out she's 72. Couldn't believe it. We aren't getting any younger.
