LONDON (AP) — Amy Winehouse, the beehived soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home, police said. She was 27.
Winehouse shot to fame with the album "Back to Black," whose blend of jazz, soul, rock and classic pop was a global hit. It won five Grammys and made Winehouse — with her black beehive hairdo and old-fashioned sailor tattoos — one of music's most recognizable stars.

Winehouse was hardcore addicted to crack and heroin. That trumps Lohan’s booze/pills/blow.
Too bad no one could get her to stop. RIP.
I hope people like LiLo take this as a wakeup call. Drug abuse leads to disfigurement and then death. Robert Downey Jr. should have a talk with her.
There’s nobody that doesn’t know by now that that garbage is dangerous. You have to WANT to quit. Winehouse didn’t want to. Eventually your body will have a different opinion, and it finally did.

For us ordinary folks, a change of job or city or new habits can be the push needed to get out of this quarter life crisis. For celebs it can be more difficult
