Whatever the hell that was.

Well like most people I cant say I am surprised by this. I loved her music I have 2 of her CD’s and when I hit the hay tonight I’ll probably listen to her CD’s. I have two of her CD’s.. Its a darn shame. She was a great talent.

Perhaps our children will make her into this generation The Doors or John Morrison.

****Very sad indeed. Wasted talent. Her Frank album was stunning!****
I have Frank & Back ToBlack.. I will listen to them tonight when I hit the hay.

She was a once in a generation type of talent. You kind of knew she wasn’t going to be around long unfortunately. Such a waste.

This really does make me sad — for her, her fans, and especially her family members. Prayers for those hurting...
I’m not surprised, but I had hoped she would find some way to overcome her demons. She was a VERY talented woman, and it’s sad when drugs yet again take someone who had so much to offer the world. May she RIP.
Here is the song I heard that made me sit up and pay attention to her a few years back:
“Back to Black” — It’s chilling watching this today, but somehow it’s fitting...

Side Note:
She is now a member of the infamous “27 Club”, or “27 Forever Club”. {Morrison, Joplin, Johnson, Jones, Hendrix, and Cobain all passed at 27 years of age...)

You should care ih. Yes, she did have plenty of opportunities to ‘clean up’ but you know what, the influences of this world, a.k.a. “the enemy” catches us at our weakest moments and deceives us into believing ‘lies’. It’s tragic when someone so young, has been so deluded...right into eternity.

very talented.....very sad......but IIRC, she had really damaged her brain with the presumed drugs and alcohol, and there was no turning back....
rip......since we Catholics believe in purgatory, than this young woman will eventually be saved.....

When people like Ashley Simpson and Paris Hilton are putting out albums (while people who are actually talented get passed right over), you know the music industry is total garbage. With computer technology being what it is, they could make Fran Drescher’s laugh sound good (or at least passable).
It’s like Hollywood, the way in is to be related to somebody who is already in. If you don’t know somebody, forget it. 20 years ago, a person could get in on an audition (like Bruce Willis). Today, forget it.

Her before LiLo? That’s a surprise.

Well, by "know somebody", you're meaning climb the "arts" social set, indicate an enormous desire to prostitute oneself for a career, and complete submission to the dictates of the left-wing intelligentsia. That seems to be the starting point for a career in "the arts", as well as a totalitarian state. I agree.
I guess one starts out at parties, then works one's way up from there. If completely tone deaf, then go for acting or comedy.

If you can hook someone up with some cocaine, too, that’s an in. A lot of these folks won’t work with anyone they haven’t snorted coke with.

Bin Laden’s death was more of a surprise than her’s.
To: Dallas59
She acknowledged struggling with eating disorders and told a newspaper that she had been diagnosed as manic depressive but refused to take medication. Soon accounts of her erratic behavior, canceled concerts and drink- and drug-fueled nights began to multiply.
Wow...what an uncompromising artist!
To: Dallas59
With looks like that, she could have had a very successful career at your local Waffle House.
