I am going STEAM POWERED. The Jules-Verne-style universe looks so neat to me, all that brass and steam engines, that I've made a COMMITMENT to go ONE HUNDRED PERCENT steam-powered.
I still need a Steam Fork, a Steam Toothbrush, and a Steam Wristwatch.

Very fun, Laz!
This one though isn't that hard to figure out. Throw a coupla straps on it and it IS your steam-powered wristwatch, with a sweep second-hand!

Still have to fire up the old Wilesco steam engine in the Winter. Reminds me of seeing one as a kid and being amazed. (By steam, go figure)

I’m in complete agreement about the steam powered gf!
She got a sister? Yikes.

Does anyone know of a steam device that also irons? It was brought up at a meeting today and I know I saw one for sale somewhere.

Ah, steam shows. Love em.
I’ll be attending 2 this year in Alexander, NY and Canandaigua, NY.
I am looking for as much information, drawings, specs. as possible for Rider and Rider-Ericsson Hot air engines.
I have watched just about every video on the web and searched high and low for drawings/specs for full size machines without success. I would like to fabricate one using a welded steel frame and tubing rather than castings.
