JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Tiger Woods has decided to get rid of Steve Williams as his caddie.
Woods announced on his website Wednesday that he and Williams, who have been together since March 1999, will no longer be working together. Woods said only that it was time for a change.
Woods did not say who would replace Williams, or when he would return.
Williams has worked the last two majors for Adam Scott of Australia.

He should hire John Daly as a caddy. Imagine that, every time they walked down the fairway it would be like the circus coming to town. Tiger and the clown!

Heck Steve’s probably happy...he can get unemployment...which is more than he’s making with Tiger right now

Too bad. Those two deserved each other

If you don’t golf, you don’t need a caddie.

This was probably Steve Williams’s idea.

El Tigre doesn’t need a caddy he needs a shrink. He also needs to fire his physical trainer while he's firing people.

He should fire his swing coach and re-hire Butch Harmon.

Williams has worked the last two majors for Adam Scott of Australia. I think this is why Tiger thinks its "time for a change." He doesn't really like to share stuff...

And John Daly haters, too!
If Tiger Woods never regains his old form and becomes another journeyman golfer--one who shows up on the leaderboard once in a while--do you think he would continue to play on the tour?

Tiger & Stevie = Lennon & McCartney
You know what they used to say, that Stevie was the second highest paid person the Tour.
Credit Tiger for telling the PGA that if his caddie couldn’t wear shorts during the tournament that he wouldn’t play. I’ll bet every caddie on tour still thanks him...

Since he can’t play anymore he should hire Casey Anthony. He could make a Billion.

I'm not a hater..but I'm no fan of the guy..and not just because of his escapes. He has tremendous talent..but lacks a love, and apprciation for the game. His gestures, grimaces..were all too contrived...the phony grin when he was winning, the facial expressions when he missed a put. I, for one, am glad that he's not likely to beat Ncklaus' record of wins in Majors.
I occasionally watch golf on the tube, mainly the big 4,but they turned it into ALL TIGER, ALL THE TIME.. other golfers didn't matter..
Despite all the talk about Tiger's "popularity" how he would bring millions of new players and fans into the game, golf has BIG problems in this country...
