Ping—my husband showed this to me last night. It worked on one of our cats.

This is a technique used for home administration of fluids.

Doesn’t harm the cat at all.

I'll have to see it work 10 out of 10 times on 10 different cats before I try this on my cat. Maybe I can talk the wife into doing it. I like my flesh the way it is - unripped

Hmmm...wonder if this would work on our Maltese dog? He barks at the drop of a hat...drives me nuts!

I use my thumb and forefinger to do the same thing to our cats. That is the reaction from being carried my their mother when they are little. It works on the dog ass well.

This works on horses, too. You don’t put the clip on the neck, though; it goes on their upper lip. They’ll flap the lip for a few minutes, then the eyelids start fluttering, then sssnnnnoooooggggg...

Take a long tube sock and tie it lightly around a cat’s belly -just so it’s slightly snug.
It throws off their balance and their butts hit the deck.

My cat who is relatively docile has a tendency to get sassy every now and then and hiss at me. As soon as she does, I grab her by the skin at the back of the neck and she immediately becomes docile once again...........

I'll have to try using the clip the next time I cut her claws.

That’s pretty cool.

I happen to stock those clips for my work.

Kudos to the key-worder who typed “clipnosis”!

Gotta try this next time the kitty needs her claws trimmed. I’ve given up turning her into a purrito for that ‘cause she always worms out. So I eliminate her traction, keeping her on a slick countertop - but she still can and will bite!
