Ping—my husband showed this to me last night. It worked on one of our cats.

This is a technique used for home administration of fluids.
Doesn’t harm the cat at all.

I wish I had known about that when I tried to give my wife's cat a pill. I wrapped him in a towel to hold him while she tried to put the pill in his mouth and that bugger was so strong he freed one foreleg and sunk a claw in my hand as deep as it would go.
I had to admire his spirit though. He wasn't about to allow anyone to do anything to him that wasn't on his agenda.

I was going to add:
16. Take a .410 shotgun. Remove the slug or pellets from a cartridge and insert pill in its place. Put shotgun in cat's mouth and pull trigger. Wait until hubby comes home to clean up the mess.
