A juror in the Casey Anthony trial has told how she received death threats and has been unable to work since she was cleared of murder.

The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan, fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

But if I were a friend of hers I’d be asking her some really hard questions too.

Because it's clear that you know more about the case than she does?

"Because it's clear that you know more about the case than she does?"

Because all disagreements are just a matter of who knows more, right?

(point being, if the prosecution messed up, then the verdict was precisely correct). What the hell is wrong with us?

Well I’m not blaming the jurors for the verdict. What I meant was, it was horrible because the prosecution was horrible. What else can you expect when the state’s case was built on too much circumstantial evidence?

The woman has more than proved she did not have the mental ability to set on a jury.

Bull crap, when that happens you hang the jury and everyone starts all over, you do not let the criminal walk.

If some psychopath kills or harms any of the Anthony family or the jury, Nancy Grace, Vinnie and CNN HLN will have blood on their hands from them and their 24/7 lynch mob panels whipping up the public into a lynch mob mentality.
They and other news media tried, convicted and sentenced Casey Anthony to death before the trial even started.

The whole Anthony family is creepy, especially George- and clearly disfunctional. They have all been caught in lies.
They have all acted suspiciously.
Whether Casey killed the child on purpose or accidentally,
we just don't know.
At any rate, the jury could not bring themselves to convict Casey based on the evidence presented by the prosecution.
The prosecution failed to prove Casey guilty. Period.

Perhaps, but to think that you know anywhere close the amount of information about this case compared with an individual who was compelled by force of law to sit and listen to all three sides (state, defense, judge) for months is the acme of hubris.

Focusing, when you say:

I’d be asking her some really hard questions too.

Do you actually have a realistic expectation that you will come up with some brilliant angle that she didn't think of already?

That's ludicrous. If you were blessed with the chance to have such an audience with this person, you should be listening instead of talking.

The good thing about it is that God does not have a statute of limitations, and his justice and judgment is always perfect.

People really are stupid herd sheeple.

This is a country of 300,000,000 plus. Yet morons personalize a case like this. Stupid. I have no more interest in this case than I do in the street price of refried beans in Tijuana. Except that everywhere I go people are bleeting about it.

So the phenomenon I focus on is herd behavior. Stupid and frightening.

and the prosecution goes home to ruined careers. They are finished because their case sucked.

The Juice Man sets a different precedent. Some googles you might want do:

Both prosecutors and defendants can cash in on high-profile acquittals.

Yep, what an idiot that prosecutor was, he could have just stopped by the nearest evidence store and bought a couple of boxes of direct evidence to serve to the jury. Maybe he's just lazy.

Wellll.....except that you said their verdict was horrible. Apparently, it was correct. Don't contribute to the FR mob who wants their heads on a platter when it's clear that:

The fact that these jurors seem tormented by it really speaks to their earnestness to me. And I am perplexed by some of the comments here.

Man up.

I already explained myself. I’ve made it clear I don’t support vigilantism. I don’t know what more you want from me, and I’m not going to explain myself anymore.

I think the Canadian practice of having a gag order for controversial or sensational trials is a good idea

stop trying people in the media and wait till the trial is officially over before allowing the talking heads to gum the case to death

“What a wonderful Jury. That girl is not guilty . It is over. She goes home to have a life and the prosecution goes home to ruined careers. They are finished because their case sucked.”

The prosecution’s case was just fine. The jury was brain dead.
