Four dogs belonging to Arizona Cardinals linebacker Joey Porter reportedly killed a dog belonging to one of his neighbor's ... this according to a local report.
The incident went down on July 2, says the Bakersfield Californian, and a local animal control spokesperson told the paper Porter was cited for not having the dogs on a leash.
The spokesperson said the dogs appeared to be half mastiff, half pit bull -- and that Porter appeared upset about what happened and apologized to the neighbor.
In 2006, Porter's dogs (though unclear if it's the same ones) reportedly got loose from his home in Pennsylvania and killed a miniature horse on a nearby farm.

Had a co-worker transferred to our stamping plant in Kentucky who bought a house out in the country. He had two Huskys that he allowed to roam free and untimately they attacked and killed a neighbor’s cow..........Very costly to him because he had to pay the neighbor for his loss and he had to put down his dogs.

Just once gives me that idea.

Any of Joey’s dogs named “Ray Ray”?
Just curious.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. This should be investigated. Thugs love to torture and kill dogs and watch dog fights. It makes them feel manly.
BTW, Vick is only sorry he got caught. He should be shunned by civilized people. Instead, he is renewing his contract with Nike. It’s bread and circuses time and we even have a caesar.

"Obviously both are the problem. Last I checked though, putting down a pi$$ poor animal owner is not a legal option."No, both are NOT the problem. What responsible dog owner allows their dogs to roam freely? NONE, that's how many.
Once, I can see as an accident..."they got out", but twice is a serious problem with the OWNER, NOT the dogs.

One area I disagree with Cesar on. Mrs. Mad’s family has bred dogs for over 100 years. It is family rules that a vicious(or one that goes off for no reason) dog be put down. The one time the rule was ignored almost cost my FIL his life.

True that. I can’t tell you the number of dogs I killed myself growing up in the country.

No, it isn’t. Roaming dogs chase livestock, frequently injuring or killing them. I have seen herds of sheep devastated by two or three dogs, cattle and horses run through barbedwire fences, etc. The problem dogs are usually owned by ignorant city slickers who believe that their dogs have a right to roam freely in the country.

Exactly so.
I used to ignore feral cats on my farm until one of them killed one of our little 4 month old barn kittens. My coyote killing dog and I went on a feral cat hunt. We killed them all in two days and had no further problems.

Personally, I’ve had it with pit bulls and the people who keep them.

Thank God the Steelers got rid of this asshat.

First principle of animal ownership period. I’m pretty tired of the people in our neighborhood who let their cats run loose too.
