I think it will be cooler than it was yesterday.

while MrJust runs in to pickup a prescription.

Thank you, Amy! That park is where Lindy and d’Ogee were trained 14 years ago. They were taught to stay (as their ‘mom’ walked away), and then when they heard the word “OK, Lindy (or d’Ogee) - COME!”, they ran as fast as possible, to their ‘mom’ for a treat.

It became necessary to teach them to ‘stay’ upon command - after they ran right to the road, when they were puppies and almost got killed. (That one word saved my last dog’s life, too, as she was walking right into the path of a big truck. I yelled “STAY”, and she stopped dead in her tracks, saving her life.

I’m glad you are getting obedience training for Daisy! I believe a dog (just as a child) feels more secure, if it knows the rules and boundaries.

We always understand, Amy. I couldn’t be here either. I had a couple of pool problems and had to get the pool guys. I think this will be the last year its opened. I am just not able to take care of it. There was a time when I couldn’t wait for each day but afraid those days have said goodbye! I have enough to do just keeping up this house and think my pool days are over. Its sad but I have to face reality! LOL!
