I recently repaired an old Pentax K1000 meter circuit using a similar material, it is great. It’s made by Permatex for repairing the defroster grids on car windshields.

This new approach would allow circuits to be drawn quicker and much cheaper, or even on-the-fly, as no other hardware is needed. Such a low cost device might create a market for throwaway circuits or even super cheap batteries. Have these people looked at the price of silver lately? If they find a way to replace the silver nitrate with some actually cheap material, I'll be more impressed.
