Frustrated Woman Grabs Louisville Slugger, Smashes Target Store Windows
CBS Pittsburgh ^ | June 24, 2011 | staff reporter

MCCANDLESS (KDKA) — A frustrated woman took a baseball bat to the front windows of the Target in McCandless.

Donna Rosenberger, 39, of Cranberry, had an explanation for her actions.

“I tried returning two ice cream makers and they would not give me my money back,” she said. “So I made a scene yesterday.”

Rosenberger told KDKA’s John Shumway she went to Dick’s Sporting Goods and bought a high performance Louisville Slugger Dynasty and returned to the Target Friday morning for the attack.

It’s a great movie, but I find it difficult to watch without getting really pissed off. I guess that was the intent, though. Who knew Joel Schumacher used to be able to make non-gay movies? lol...

I well remember sitting on my grandma’s ice cream churn to provide the needed ‘ballast’ to the hold the contraption down while dad turned the handle.

Best ice cream in the world!

.........to the hold the contraption down while dad turned the handle.

Remember those well, still have an old hand crank type in my workshop.
You really had to want ice cream back then, LOL.
When they came out with the electric motor driven ones, thought that was the best thing since sliced bread.

Grandma had one hooked up to a treadmill. Dog powered. Today, PETA and the cops would be at her door, for animal abuse.

Neat...when I wanted to get mine going...I had a heck of a time finding rock salt in the middle of summer. It’s good to plan ahead for these things [I now have a stock of rock salt for the next 200 summers!] LOL

That is what I was thinking bought 2 for a party used them then tried to return them for cash.Somethng like that yu can look at and tell if they were used because the plastic clear lids normally scatch easily and the white plastic will stain if fruit/flavorings are used.

I had a heck of a time finding rock salt in the middle of summer.

I remember the constant warning from my grandpa, "Don't put too much ice or rock salt, it'll get in the ice cream".
I was just trying to hurry things along :^)

Yeah, to tell the truth, the ice cream wasn’t all that great, but the memories of my dad and mama make it the best in my mind.

Our last family reunion before my dad passed one of my cousins had an electric model and said it was just like the old days.

Not even close. lol

When these good folk finally go their Great Reward, I often ponder The wealth of knowledge that is buried with them. Bless them all. Life is too short to fit in all the simple pleasures.

Making ice cream is a time consuming process.

I've only engaged in it once. It seems a lot like work to me.

One of my sisters-in-law has made it into kind of a hobby for events and has come up with some interesting flavors, many IMHO, to taste better than such as Baskin Robbins in days of yore.

I hope Target files a law suit against the Louisville Slugger Company.

Furthermore, that face could use a makeover with a Loiuiville Slugger, IMHO.

Furthermore, she looks like the sort who might melt if you simply threw a bucket of water on her.

Furthermore, guilty.

Does she use one to put her make-up on or to tenderize her face?

Didn’t read the story, but I’ll lay odds the ice cream makers had been used.

Should have purchased them at Walmart then. Walmart's return policy is extremely liberal. They've even been known to accept returns of items they do not carry.

That’s insulting to Carolyn Jones.

I totally agree. That humanoid on drugs is not worthy to have her picture next to Morticia Addams.
