Discussing the Bachmann / Romney implosions and if they dare to risk another Texan running for the White House in their desperation to hold Sarah Palin at bay.

Cheers!

That photo of Kasich reminds me of that infamous photo of Katie Couric squat dancing as though she's about to pinch a loaf.

Cheers!

Bad enough the RINO, Weeper of the House agreed to play golf with Dear Leader, but then to play "with him?"

Gimme a break!

You just know that The Won (or one of his handlers/puppet masters) decided that it just "would not do" if Bone-er/Kasich beat O'Bummer/Plugs Biden as that would be symbolic of Republicans beating Demo-Rats and we just could not have any of that.

So, our Girly-Guy Wuss Speaker went dutifully along with that PC suggestion (that he and The Won team up, thus their would be "No Winners or Losers" based on Politics/Parties) and now, it looks to all that they managed to "go along and git' along" and thus should be able to compromise on other issue pending, such as raising the debt limit.

Maybe not a sellout, but a HUGE mistake and will be used by the Community Agitator and the "Rats" to their advantage.

Nope, our side never learns!

It's only 10:00 and I'm tempted to hit the bottle already! lol

However, if you view Obama as a traitor positioned by america-hating socialists bent on doing as much damage as possible to our economy and personal freedoms...

That's exactly how I view Obama...but he is the POTUS...and I still respect the office. They were playing golf with the office...not their best friend!

There are so many things about this administration to criticize, that who plays golf with Obama is not one of my priorities.

I vote for #5.

He is afraid to go up against zero using conservative values.

No problem Lonestar. On this one we just disagree. I would have much preferred Boehner respectfully declined the invitation with dignity. (Because I want to see Republicans represent me. And that is what I would have done.)

It favors Obama if your conservative and favors Boehner if your a lib. The “optics” are a matter of perspective. If we conservatives all scream that Boehner was “played” then guess what - that will be the primary perspective.

If we convince that everyone Barry is moving right then his base will crumble. It's all a matter of spin if you're looking at the politics... and of course the conservatives are spinning themselves into the ground...again.

We need to help our reps with positive spin for them and negative for the libs not the other way around.

The spin I may done is that “Obama was forced to meet conservatives to negotiate the government cuts, with Boehner bringing in one of the great balance budget leaders John Kaisch to “teach” Obama how it is done.”

Bringing in John Kaisch is a stroke of genius for Boehner.

“If we convince that everyone Barry is moving right then his base will crumble.”

It’s not about the party bases because those votes are set in stone. The American Idol demographic is going to decide 2012 and both parties are fighting over them already. They really don’t pay much attention to politics and this type of fluff only helps Barry appear moderate and bipartisan. In reality he is not serious about the budget and spins one fairy tale after another. We need to get that message out and skip the fluff.

yes and no... I agree with your statements but as the pubs were disenfransihed in 2008 because our leaders sucked (we were told)so we need to disenfranchised the left so they stay home and do not become energized.

I’m good with skipping the fluff, but also add we need to encourage our leaders with positive statements not “beat” on them for playing golf. I think the MSM and the left loonies really love it when we get down on our political leaders.

In fact if you were a political consultant for the left you would encourage it. Remember there is a balance - you start screaming at our reps and the “idol” demo will believe you.

Encourage the reps to remain true to the basic principles, and give them congrads when they do it right. Beat on the libs all you want - encourage them to go more left :)

Top 10 reasons why Boehner golfed w/Zero
Washington Times ^ | 6/19/11 | rodguy911

We need to determine why Boehner played golf with Zero. For the last three years or more we have amassed reams of documentation why we have the worst potus in the history of the country. His side of the aisle has never included us in anything from 0bamacare to any of the thousand page bills they pushed through. Did Boehner sell out to a Socialist regime hell bent on destroying the country?

. . . . Sorry for the late ping, but it has been almost impossible to access FR today.

Thanks, rodguy911. My bet would be on a sell-out.

It is very difficult to come up any non-nefarious reasons. At this point the GOP is a worse enemy of “we the people” than the Dems because we know the Dems are the enemy. The Repubs are supposed to be on our side.

Nauseating.

Currently I find when I get the Service Temporarily Not Available, if I hit refresh the page usually comes up. Was offline all day until half an hour ago.

So far Boehner has not acted as "my" political leader. He's acted like a sissy.

“My bet would be on a sell-out.”

From the article: “White House spokesman Jay Carney said the president didn’t have an agenda for talks on the links....”

Silly people....AGENDA? Obama just couldn’t find any other partners on Father’s Day weekend. Everybody else was out of town.

And Boehner? “The “Presence” wants me to play golf with him. It will be a good time to “share.””

The seductive offer was too flattering to pass up, and he didn’t see the harm.

AWOL! and unfit to serve at this time.
