The United States presidential election of 2012 is the next United States presidential election, to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. It will be the 57th quadrennial presidential election in which presidential electors, who will actually elect the President and the Vice President of the United States on December 17, 2012, will be chosen. Barack Obama, who is eligible for a second and final term as President, has announced that he will seek nomination to be the Democratic Party's candidate in this election.

The 2012 presidential election will coincide with the United States Senate elections where 33 races will be occurring as well as the United States House of Representatives elections to elect the members for the 113th Congress. The election will also encompass eleven gubernatorial races as well as many state legislature races.

The 2010 Census changed the Electoral College vote apportionment for the Presidential elections from 2012 to 2020 in the following states. The candidates are: Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Herman Cain, Gary Johnson, Newt Gingrich, and more, against the incumbent President Barack Obama.

Because Wrong Paul don’t count. He could have 10,000 more votes than the next closest candidate and when it came time for ACTUALLY voting, his supporters (such as they are) have to come crashing back to reality. You see, you can vote for the man 50X but that doesn’t mean that you have actually created 50 more Paulbots that are going to show up on election or primary day.

Outside of his district, Wrong Paul will never, at any time, not ever be elected to a damned thing. 50% of his problem is that his suporters are by and large the most obnoxious, low class sons-of-b*tches on the internet. They actually turn others AWAY from the man with their cultish idolatry.

WHy did they show Paul’s name in third, when his percentage is clearly in first?

Who knows. Incompetent cyber drones running the poll?

Santorum will get ripped to shreds over his unfortunate “Macaca” debacle.

With his following he could be a kingmaker.

He could choose a candidate, announce he was supporting them, and say that he’s going to try to get some assurances on policy decisions.

In the 08 race, Duncan Hunter was my chosen candidate. When he dropped out he threw his support to the Huckster. I would have voted for Huckabee over McCain if my primary hadn’t already passed. By the time Hunter dropped out, all that was left was McCain, Huckabee, and Paul. He said Huckabee was closest to his own positions and John McCain had broken too mant promises.

I see why now, they listed the names in the order of how they appear in the poll. (Maybe?)

So where is Rick Perry’s name?

Who knows what these people's criteria was when they chose the names? Palin hasn't declared, yet there she is. Rick Perry hasn't either, yet he's missing. Go figure.

I was in the same boat in ‘08 as you. Except that I felt Hunter had no chance of winning, even though he was a good candidate and Conservative.

I also had reservations about Thompson, because to me, he never really seemed like he was serious. That left Huck, who I never really liked but he was volumes better than McNutcase or Romneyscare.

What a menagerie we are about to face once again! Although I admit the candidates this time around have much better appeal than they did in ‘08.

Here again, time will tell.

Roach Paul is totally unelectable and his screwy supporters vote multiple times and go to events like GOP PAC and vote in straw polls. When the real election time comes about in the primaries he will garner his usual 5-10% if that.

OOPS!

You're right about that, Sorry I mixed them up, but the effect will probably be about the same. Now If I remember correctly, Santorum was the one who was ousted in the ‘06 protest vote was he not?

Yes he was. It isn’t hard to get them mixed up. They kind of remind me of each other.

We have a far more conservative field this time and if we’re smart we can eliminate the RINOs early on.

I think tonight's debates will be kind of fun to watch. Do you have your tickets for a front row seat? I have mine, a Lazyboy recliner and will have my 61” Sony in “ZOOM” mode, LOL!

And I can record it when I nap through Romney and Gingrich!
