Typical Romney...running to smooze it up with whoever is popular. I remember the first time I ever laid eyes on Romney. It was the olympics and Bush was at the height of his popularity. We were watching him on TV in Utah and there was this guy(Romney) sitting next to President Bush. You could tell he knew exactly where the camera was and was leaning over every 5 seconds to ‘whisper’ something in Bush’s ear hoping to get on camera looking like Bush’s ‘best friend’. You could tell Bush was getting annoyed as hell and was trying to watch the event....LOL.
I remember asking my husband who the jerk was that was pestering Bush so much. Romney was acting like a horse fly buzzing around Bush’s ear.
Neither of us knew who he was, but we both commented that he had to be some kind of politico trying to smooze his way to the top.....LOL!

That right there speaks volumes! How many other politicians, Dem or Repub would take the time to even give a flip whether it was "partisan" or not? This is just one of many examples I've seen that illustrate that she really was looking out for the people's resources. At first I was angry teh MSM were doing this sill exercize, but not I realize they are helping her in ways they never imagined. Can you say "backfire" boys and girls?
On that basis, we should be willing to elect Gorbachev or Deng Xiao Ping. Sheesh!

Kind of, sort of off topic, but when I met Governor Palin the first time, on her first book tour; I had made a shirt via Zazzle and one of the images said “FReepers love Sarah Palin!”, she saw that and stated, “I just love Free Republic.”; which told me she was aware of the site, since she knew what FReepers meant.
