During the Clinton era, this site was a major thorn in the Clinton's butt. We were taking out full page ads during the early days of impeachment. We did stuff to combat what we were seeing. In hindsight the Clinton's weren't that bad, in comparison.
Should we be doing more?

It is what it is - things change - life goes on - nothing is ever perfect or what we may want it to be. So what of it? Is the glass half full or half empty? To me it seems half full. If there is a better conservative website, I have yet to find it.
My prediction:
The day Palin announces (presuming she will, sure hope so) this place will go nuts.
Volume will double.
People need actual motivation. We’ve been frustrated for so long. “My friends”, and everything else. George Bush calling some “vigilantes”.
The increasing uselessness of the GOP is the problem.
Turn around the GOP, and you set FR into orbit.

Don’t know if anyone mentioned a legendary Freeper Mr. Confettiman. Dude used to protest solo outside the clinton WH and later on was joined by many others. I think he lost a battle with brain cancer. Amazing individual. Very unassuming person as well.

I saw the thread about the shuttle landing the night before, and then saw the morning updates as I left to pick up my daughter from a sleepover.
I had just arrived at the sleepover when KRLD started discussing the shuttle landing being visible from DFW but that there may be something wrong. Absolutely amazing.
A few weeks ago I read that Obama will make an announcement Sunday night, then that Osama had been killed by SEALs.
Family is mad that the networks all broke into programming (even Apprentice!) for no apparent reason. I was able to beat all of the networks and radio just by repeating what I read on FR.
Even was able to tell the family that the hour long wait was not caused by “Obama needing to finish writing his statement” but that he was being briefed after being left out of the loop with Jarrett. “Who is Jarret? I never see her on TV.”
We also have nearly 100 people who daily donate computers to help find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease etc. as part of the FReeper Folding@Home project:

Fox, in general, has backed away from Beck, Palin, FR and others who are threatening exposure of the Fraud that Obozo represents. The Pubbie heiarchy is scared to death of the consequence if "our type" gain power. For them it would be worse than Reagan. (and it would)
In my opinion, there is plenty of time to assign blame, charge, try, convict and punish those who brought us here. But the first order of business is regain control and stop the madness. I am not sure that is possible before the financial chickens come home to roost. The verdict is still out on that.
We are shaky, but when compared to any other place in the world we are still better. If a normal president, not an Anti-American Traitor, were in the White House we could work out of this. As it is, unless he is unseated, I am not sure.
I have been of FR for maybe 10 years. I can recall when several of the administrators would ban you if you spoke out against Rinos, or even supported conservatives too strongly.
Fortunately that has changed and for the better.
