Be honest and don't look at the movie list below till you have done the math!
Ok, just humor me and do it!
Try this test and find out what movie is your favorite.
This amazing math quiz can likely predict which of 18 movies you would enjoy the most. It really works! ..... for MOST of us anyway!
Movie Test:
1. Pick a number from 1-9.
2. Multiply by 3.
3. Add 3.
4. Multiply by 3 again.
5. Now add the two digits of your answer together to find your predicted favorite movie in the list of 18 movies below
Movie List:
1. Gone With The Wind
2. E.T.
3. Blazing Saddles
4. Star Wars
5. Forrest Gump
6. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

Didn’t work.
Oh well this nonsense usually doesn’t
I ended up with Blazing Saddles.
U musta went 2 publik skool.
Or they realized the nonsense of the game before hand since number 9 does not exist......
I picked 1.5
You didn’t say anything about an integer.
There is a word, “Lincolnesque”, meaning, “eloquent and moving in a plain spoken and unornamented manner”. [e.g., “I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming.”]
There is a word, “Clintonesque”, meaning “infuriatingly evasive, deceptive, obfuscating, oblique, and tortured; obnoxiously lawyerly”. E.g., “It depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is.”
There needs to be a word, “Obamaesque”, meaning “solipolistically self-promoting, in a vacuous, meandering and verbose manner; appealing to the semiliterate through use of person references and vainglorious rhetoric.”
Excuse me, I went to Catholic school and we were most certainly done with the “times tables” through 12 x 12 by sixth grade. We were doing solid geometry in the 10th grade.
So you include 3 as a multiple twice guaranteeing that the answer will be a muliple of 9 and therefore the digits add to 9. In 3rd grade that would have been cool
I’m sorry, but if I have to use math to figure out which movie I like, I can do it with just addition. Cost of tickets + cost of popcorn + cost of pop = Holy cow! Let’s watch tv. Pay per view movie + cost of therapy to recover from violence in the movie + sound-cancelling headphones for wife because I scream at how bad the movies are = Holy cow! Let’s read a book. Cost of book + cost of incarceration for insane writer paid for by my taxes + bill from opthamologist for washing out my eyes to try and get rid of the utterly evil words in the book = Holy cow! I’ll watch the grass grow.
