Rest in peace. Thanks for all the music, which I enjoyed without knowing so much of it was from you.

His Greatest song, IMO, was “Endless Flight”. It’s one of the coolest songs I’ve ever heard. RIP Andrew.

Rest in peace Andrew Gold. A very talented fellow.
Thanks for posting this r/r. I’ve been looking for a news story on this since this morning when i first read it on Leland Sklar’s FB page.

There have been a lot of deaths recently: James Arness, Kervorkian (ugh!-good riddance), Eagleburger, and now him. Rest in peace.

Man this is a shock. 59 is way too young. RIP
He and Linda Ronstadt made some pretty amazing music together.
Reading through the article I saw the name Wendy Waldman, now there is a singer I have not thought about in about 25 years! I have 3 of her records, I think I will go put one on!

My high school boyfriend loved “Lonely Boy”. That tainted me. I could never stand that song, but RIP.

During his period of creativity there wasn’t any music that didn’t suck. RIP but you were dead to me years ago....

No mention yet of his death on any real news sites. Maybe it’s not true?

I grew up singing Lonely Boy. And TYFBAF has been used in our family’s funerals.
Rest in Peace, Andrew. I know you were a liberal in your politics, but God blessed you with a wonderful musical gift. And your presence made a difference in my life.

I loved Andrew Golds solo work and his work with Bryndle. 59 is too young of an age to die.
To: raccoonradio
Oh man, he was way too young! I did enjoy his music.

As an aside, Lonely Boy was also the title of Paul Anka's early hit, the closest thing he had ever done to rockabilly, not a bad record altogether, if, like most of his output, overproduced by his benefactor Don Costa.

This guy was a great talent.
RIP
