After news that Britain's beloved Marmite has been removed from supermarket shelves in Denmark it emerged Thursday that Australia's favorite spread, Vegemite, has also been added to the Scandanavian country's banned list.
Denmark has ordered Vegemite, along with Marmite and Ovaltine, off its shelves because food authorities have never confirmed claims that it is a "rich source of Vitamin B" and folate.

Men At Work had a song which mentioned a vegemite sandwich, if I recall correctly. Men At Work came from the land down under. Are they even still around?
Denmark is banning these items not because of being harmful in any way, but because of issues with the labeling or advertising claims? Really????
(You are welcome)
What did he fly? When?
If he was helos, then thank him for bringing us “beans, bullets & band-aids”.
If he was “fast movers”, then thanks for all the ordnance!
I was a Mud Marine in ‘Nam. Afterward, I flew CH-53D.
Semper Fi!
She was pretty funny - pretty good show.
That episode was a rare gem out of long run of dismal shows. Some of the very worst of television comedy.
The two actors who played their neighbors were talented, though.
All I remember what he told me was that he flew off a carrier in Corsairs. My two brother’s served in Iraq. One an attack helicopter pilot and the other a weapons officer. My uncle flew helicopters in ‘Nam but he doesn’t say too much about what he did.
Ah, that would be Holland you’re thinking of.
Now how could a country ban THIS:
We are happy little Vegemites
as bright as bright can be,
We all enjoy our Vegemite
for breakfast, lunch and tea,
Our mummy says we’re growing stronger every single week,
Because we love our Vegemite,
We all adore our Vegemite,
It puts a rose in every cheek!
That was a classic episode!
After Mad Cow Disease, Europe should worry about its recent E.Coli outbreak.
Marmite which is very similar to vegemite, I guess, is an acquired taste, much like that dark liquid called Guinness.
Spread, sparingly, with butter on toast. Sometimes w/ a thin slice of grilled real cheddar cheese.
Has high sodium content but I like it, sparingly.
Kraft Foods, a few yrs ago, tried to market vegemite in Australia as “iSnack 2.0”. It was a huge flop.
