A fisherman hauled an extremely rare blue lobster out of the waters off P.E.I.'s North Shore Wednesday.
Blair Doucette landed the lobster in North Rustico. Only about one in four million lobsters is blue. The colour is caused by a genetic mutation.
Wendy Doucette, Blair's wife, told CBC News in 30 years of fishing he has never seen a blue lobster. They are considering donating the lobster to a local aquarium.

The whole island is a real gem. It is that! And great little restaurants. But don't wear white clothes to the beaches! ;o)

I work at Seabrook Nuclear. The Science and Nature Center here has a both a blue and an orange lobster. But IIRC, yellow lobsters are the rarest—something like 1 in 30 million.

all ya gotta do is add the corn on the cob, steamers and mussels, a beer - melted butter and a bib.
Where I live, we have that all on a wharf out over the water, looking off to the islands...some wicked good, ayah.

Have you seen him? Mitt Lobster is up there, probably near Concord, announcing he is going to run for Prez Lobster. I saw him on Hannity promising *a Lobster in everyman's pot.*

I’m coming up your way this summer; I’m determined to find the beach off 1A before you get to Kittery,IIRC. All I remember is pulling off to the side of the road and walking down several wooden stairs to the *best* tidal pools, I’ve ever seen! We found the best beach glass and sand dollars.
Do you know of the place I mean? It was truly amazing.
